On this episode, I got the chance to dig deeper into Antwan's venture with DataJocks. Turns out, using analytics to get out in front of athlete injuries before it happens is a pretty big deal. With following sleeping patterns, tracking movement and dozens of other data points, he and his company can wield data and dashboards to tell the story about how well each athlete is doing. It's an entertaining mix of sports and science.

There are some excellent salespeople out there who love what they do because they seek first to serve. Today's guest, Chris Spurvey, is one of those people. Haha this was a fun episode! Randy Santel is a Professional Eater, and shared his story about how he kinda fell into the role of doing food challenges for money. It takes a special mindset and a certain set of genetics to succeed in this area, and he found out somewhat by accident that he had what it takes. Now he's working toward being a nutritionist in the next phase of his career. Join us in this episode to find out more about his story.

On today's episode, Lori Saitz, Founder of Zen Rabbit and I talk about how she started her business (which is a pretty cool story and has nothing to do with rabbits at all) but also about how transitioning from being an introvert to an extrovert might not even be accurate! I learned so much from this episode today, and Lori brought all her skills in the areas of relationship building, networking and connecting with the right people.

How do you crack the leadership code? Well, first step is listening to today's podcast. Alain and I had the chance to talk about true leadership, and what that really looks like. The problem is, so many leaders think that because they're in a particular position, the leadership just happens by default, but nothing could be further from the truth. Real leadership is an action, and it's actually something that can be boiled down to a science. Interested in finding out what the kind of leadership is that will have people wanting to be you when they grow up?

On today's episode, Emily Crookston, founder of The Pocket PhD, shared with me how she turned her background as a philosophy professor into content marketing and, ultimately, ghostwriting. Turns out that philosophy helps turn writers into supermutants, because tapping into the "why" of writing a book, and the "why" of the audience you're trying to reach is one of the hardest things. Find out more about Emily's journey in this episode.

I got introduced to Kate by a previous podcast guest, and we hit it off right away. Combining her previous skills in copywriting, designing courses and search engine optimization, she's found multiple ways to serve people. And more importantly: avoiding the trap of trading your time for money. Instead of working IN the business, work ON the business. Also this is the first time I scared a guest on the show, so we've got that going for us which is nice.

It's always good when the pre-record conversation is so good you almost forget to hit the record button. This was one of those episodes. Midlife isn't easy. A lot of women you and I know struggle with it. But there are some women that realize: hey I'm tired of living everybody else's life. Those are the ones that get the most out of life. Laura Rubin, Midlife Navigator, helps with that. If you're a woman hitting middle age and wondering what's next in life, may want to give this episode a shot.
