You might think that we go through life not dealing with trauma when it comes to relationships, but there are a lot of things that can happen to us early in life that have lasting effects. Most people just deal and never try to figure out the problem, and it can affect people around them. Some of that trauma ends up being passed onto the next generation.
That's the driving force behind why Riana Milne got into relationship and love coaching, among other things. She's successfully uncovered, identified and fixed 10 common challenges that people have with showing and receiving love, and maintaining love. So she's put science around the squishy stuff.

Time is the most valuable resource we have. And yet we waste so much of it on inefficiency. But where so many people fall down is focusing on fixing the symptoms of that time waste instead of the actual root of the problem, which could be psychological. Tanya is the CEO and Founder of 180 Degree Time Management and focuses on helping all kinds of people get a handle on fixing the actual problem behind why we mismanage time, leading people to true freedom.

I met with John Hill, Host of the Sales Throwdown Podcast and Founder of Adapted Growth the other day, and we got to talking about personality profiles. Turns out that, yeah, some of them work well with other personality types. And as effective salespeople sometimes we have to "try on" different personality types to get the best effect.

Got the chance to talk with Veronica Kirin recently, Founder of Audacious Entrepreneur Coaching. And although she helps entrepreneurs figure out how to wield their crazy new business that they're building, we actually talked about something totally different.
Veronica's been traveling around (well, virtually now) documenting what it's like for people as we face the challenges that COVID-19 bring to us. She's done this previously by compiling books about The Greatest Generation and what life was like for them--a generation that quickly is fading out from age--so that valuable memories aren't lost to history. And now she's doing it for us, today.
This is a deviation from the normal feel of the podcast but I couldn't pass up the opportunity. We're living in history right this second and these days will be stories for the next generations too.

Dang. This dude is turnt up to 11! Loved getting with Tom Matzen, Founder of Entrepreneur Empowerment Institute. Finding out that there are people out there that teach business owners how to run business is one of the biggest life hacks possible. It's no secret that the path can be a lonely one, but there's no challenge you're facing as you're building your dream, that someone else hasn't already faced and overcome. Tom's one of those guys.
Tune into this episode to learn more about what that kind of mentorship looks like, why it's great, and ways he personally could help you. And find out about his scholarship program :)

It's no secret that the #hustle life is stressful. But it doesn't have to break you. Moving and growing and adapting is part of life in general, and talking with Rita today, we got to share both of our "hit in the head by a 2x4" moments in our lives.
Rita's awesome, and if you want to find out about her book and services as a management consultant, head over to www.RitaPerea.com, or connect with her through social media.
Really glad to get a chance to talk with Cassmer Ward on what goes into being a Fractional CFO. His service centers on working light, part-time for companies to handle bookkeeping, finance tracking, accounting and all kinds of money things. But we also talked about how building a donut shop resulted in an entire class that puts numbers and science about how much it costs to make a donut.
Digging deep into finances and overhead is something all entrepreneurs need to get a handle on, because while surprises are generally good, when it comes to finances... eh probably not!

The average person thinks they're an above average driver. The same is true for the average leader. But what does really awesome leadership really look like? What's the telltale sign that someone's a true leader, versus someone just wearing the title?
Find out in today's episode.
Molly Rauzi has a lot of experience with building organizational culture, and leading leaders to lead. While that may sound a little wonky, one of the true marks of leadership is producing other leaders. She does that, and she talks about the process.

"What is it about being in technology for so many years that prepared you to become a startup entrepreneur?" Great question. We answer it here.
Amber and I talked about the crazy minds that entrepreneurs have that drives them to create something out of nothing. When you see a problem that nobody else seems to have noticed... sometimes you just gotta do the thing. You can't not.

On this episode, I got with Avy-Loren to talk about a topic that's probably near and dear to all of us, including business owners: Failing. We all do it. It happens. But where some people differ is what to do about it! If you treat it like a personal bonk, and beat yourself up, you're wasting a huge opportunity. See, the more you fail, the more you learn, and if you treat failures as just data, you'll be way ahead in no time.
Find out more about Avy-Loren at www.avylorencohen.com where you can review some of the articles he's written about this and many more subjects. Find him on LinkedIn, Twitter, Quora, Medium and many other places by googling "avy loren cohen".
