Well, after an 8 month break, Warren and Nathan return for more podcasting. In this episode, we discuss the new name of the podcast, what we've been up to since last recording, the current state of Covid, and plans for the podcast going forward. We really appreciate everyone's support. Go to @HumanityofMed on twitter or email at [email protected] with any feedback, recommendations, etc.
In the episode, we talk about the evolution of scientific recommendations. We specifically talk about the fact that Covid is now felt to be spread mainly via aerosols rather than droplets and what this means. We go over what VAERS is and isn't. Towards the end, Warren congratulates Nathan for ... Thanks for listening!

We spend the majority of this episode talking about how Warren does the scheduling for our Hospitalist group. He goes over how he initially approaches the task, some of the difficult aspects of it, and how he manages to make most everyone happy when it is complete. We end with a little bit of March Madness talk. Also, Happy Match Day to all those MS4's out there!
In this episode, we get into the very exciting (or not) world of post-discharge planning options. We also spend some time talking about random topics including going to eat at a restaurant, etc.
In this episode, we speak with our friend and colleague Dr. Margo Girardi about a variety of topics. She shares with us her story of getting into medicine and becoming a Hospitalist. We discuss her thoughts on being a female physician and the struggles she regularly overcomes. Then, we spend some time going over some of our favorite recent television shows including Bridgerton, The Bachelor, and Derek Delgaudio's In and Of Itself.
In this episode, Warren and Nathan talk about a variety of topics. We discuss our few thoughts with this whole Gamestop stock saga (of course, we really do not know anything about the stock market). We go over our experiences with getting vaccinated against Covid-19. And then with the Super Bowl one week away, we have to talk a little football.
In this episode, we talk with our former colleague Dr. Richard Santos. We discuss his path to medicine as well as his philosophies regarding caring for patients, interacting with nonphysician colleagues and other memories of his time here. At the end, we discuss Season 3 of Cobra Kai (though no spoilers are mentioned). We really enjoyed this episode and think you will too.
In this episode, Warren and Nathan talk about their plans and expectations for 2021. We then discuss our takeaways from the Medicine Grand Rounds by Dr. Tony Fauci this morning. Finally, we discuss our favorite quarantine purchases of the past year. How do a bidet and a puppy sound to you?
