In the final chapter of the report Inspector General Michael Horowitz's makes his recommendations to prevent a reoccurrence of the FBI misconduct that was uncovered in the Crossfire Hurricane/Russia investigation.  If you've listened to this report with us, you'll see how Crossfire Hurricane was an unprecedented and apparently politically motivated investigation that violated the rights of private citizens.  It also revealed how the FBI infiltrated a political campaign during an election as senior FBI agents wrote about stopping a candidate from being elected. Do Horowitz's recommendations have the teeth needed to prevent a repeat of what happened? Even the Inspector General admits that, "current Department and FBI policies are not sufficient to ensure appropriate oversight and accountability. . ."
