Hello Lovelies! And welcome to another episode of The Illuminare Podcast. It is with great pleasure that I bring these moments of raw, unfiltered, real life experiences to your ears. I absolutely love speaking to people about how they have overcome different challenges in life and giving them the opportunity to share their truth. Thank you for joining me on this journey and for giving me this platform to share.
.
In this episode, I am interviewing the fabulous Clara Hand who is such an inspirational young woman who no doubt is having a positive influence on her generation! Clara is an intern Psych Nurse (almost qualified whoop whoop!), a Mental Health Advocate, a Spunout.ie Action Panelist, a Youth advisor at BodyWhys and the founder of @_thisisnotconsent on Instagram. This is an episode you do not want to miss!
.
As a disclaimer, Clara was not fully qualified in her field when we had this conversation but she has something really valuable, experience. Clara shares her story of battling an Eating Disorder and how she has faced her fears and battled through her darkest times, all by being her own best friend. There may be things in this episode that you find triggering, and if that is the case, please reach out to the resources we have mentioned which will also be tagged in the post and mentioned below. Be your own best friend and get the help that you don't only need, but you DESERVE!
.
As always, this episode is sent out to the airwaves with Love!
Keep Shining Bright Lovelies!

Hello Lovelies! And what a treat it is to be back in action with the podcast. This episode has been a long time coming, recorded months ago and unfortunately my laptop decided it was going to give way. Thankfully now, I'm back up and running and here we are...
.
In this episode, I had the marvelous opportunity to talk to the woman behind 'Brays Barbie', Dee Kelly Dooley. Tune in and hear how it all began with Barbie, what she has accomplished so far and how she has brought such a positive atmosphere to Bray town during these difficult and uncertain times.
.
Make sure to check out Brays Barbie on Instagram as well as some of the incredible local businesses that Dee has recommended. We all need to support one another, and local businesses need our support big time!
.
Thanks so much for listening and as always, this episode is sent out to the airwaves with Love <3

Hi Lovelies! As always it is my pleasure to bring you a new episode of The Illuminare Podcast, and this week I had the honour of interviewing Joanna from @mayb_etomorrow . Joanna shares her story in an honest and open conversation about a specific time and a specific incident in her life. Speaking about such a difficult situation can be nerve wrecking, but Joanna spoke with such bravery and courageousness, leaving me stunned and feeling empowered by her strength.
.
As a pre-warning, this episode speaks about sexual assault and some of you may find it triggering. Although details were not expressed, the emotion is very tangible from the conversation. If you have been affected by sexual assault, please do not stay silent! Speak out about your experience. It's the first step on a long path of recovery...
.
If you are not sure of where to reach out to, try Women's Aid Ireland, The Rape Crisis Centre, or speak to your GP and get guidance on where to get counselling. You can also reach out to myself or Joanna, and we can assist you in making the first step of courage.

Hello Lovelies! Another Monday, another episode and may I say I am absolutely loving this adventure. Even if only one person listened to my podcast, even if that one person was me, I would still love doing it! Having conversations with such wonderful people has really lifted my spirits and I am so curious to learn more about more people. I love people and I hope you guys are loving hearing their stories and embracing the knowledge that they are sharing also.
.
In this week's episode, I get to chat to the fabulous Jennifer Finlay Mulligan from @irishlifestylegeek about Mood Food! Something I have been so curious about since I got my intolerance results back in March of 2020. Food definitely affects our mood and this episode is filled with nuggets of knowledge that I hope you'll all learn from and take on board.
.
As always, it was a pleasure to interview Jennifer! All of my guests so far have been incredible and I am so grateful to each one of them sharing in this adventure with me. Sending this episode out to the Airwaves with Love x

Hello Lovelies! It is my pleasure to bring this episode to you, sharing good news stories and positive things that happened in our lives during 2020. On the run up to the year end, I thought it might be nice to reflect on the good things rather than wish the entirety of the year away! Although it has been a really tough year for all of us, some of us lost jobs, some lost loved ones, and we all were affected by social distancing, there were some good things to come of 2020! So to end the year on a positive note, in gratitude and appreciation for the little things, I've put this episode together with the help of you and your stories. So have a listen and enjoy, and if you have good news to share, make sure you do!
