Luke's account of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. 

John gives his account of Jesus's crucifixion. John shows how Psalm 22 is being fulfilled and how Jesus cared for his mother at the time of His passion and sorrow. 

In this Psalm, David points out that people rarely speak what they think. People lack true integrity of speech. The only true source of integrity is God. God is consistent in everything He does and says. 

Jesus is betrayed by Judas and is denied by Peter. 

These two passages go hand in hand, as Peter is referring, and sometimes quoting, Isaiah 53. When reading these two passages together, we see Jesus' response to pain and suffering in, in return, how we should model our responses to be more like him. 

Jesus prays in the garden with his disciples and is arrested by the Jews. 

David does not like the advice his advisors bring to him. David is resolute to rest in the Lord and in His protection 

Jesus institutes the Lord Supper in the upper room on Passover. 

All of the preparation put into the "Last Supper" should indicate to us how important it was to Christ and, in return, how important it should be to us.
