So often, when we read through the Bible we tend to skim or even skip over the genealogy chapters. In today’s message, Pastor Bill will explain how important the genealogies in the Bible are. Without the Bible you wouldn’t know where or how nations and peoples came from. Pastor Bill will remind you that genealogies not only explain who was in whose family line but they are also there to remind you that you are not an accident. God has a put you in your family for a reason.

How often do we find ourselves gossiping about other people to make us look good or to make them look bad? Or maybe you’re the listener when someone else is talking bad about others. In today’s message, Pastor Bill will admonish you to not share other people’s sins or weaknesses. Instead, you should be willing to help those who are struggling. Pastor Bill will also caution you to think about who may be listening and that your gossip will cause the listener to think differently about the person you’re talking about.

Ephesians 5:18 says “do not get drunk with wine”. You may wonder if God is mean by commanding you to not get drunk but in actuality God is protecting you. In today’s message, Pastor Bill cautions you to stay away from drinking any alcohol, don’t allow drinking to be what you turn to when you’re sad or tired or lonely. He explains that when you’re drunk you don’t have full control over yourself and you will regret things you say or do when you are drunk. Just stay away from it.

After God completely destroyed the earth with a flood, he gently set Noah down into a world that is all new. God established a covenant with Noah to never again flood the earth to destroy it. Pastor Bill teaches today that God’s covenants for men in the bible are forever and for all people. He gave the rainbow as proof of this eternal promise. A rainbow in the sky is a sign that God keeps His promises. Every time you see a rainbow, praise God that His word is true!
