When you think about the story of Noah, what is one of the first things that comes to mind? You most likely can easily recall all the animals being saved, and the rainbow, and of course the flood. Today, Pastor Bill will be explaining how one of the most important parts of the story is how God killed off almost the whole known world because of sin but saved Noah and his family. God is a God of love, but He's also just, righteous, and holy! Thankfully in Jesus, we are saved from God's wrath.

When you wake up in the morning, do you acknowledge that there's a spiritual battle over your soul? It's typically not the first thought people have when they wake up to start their day. Today, Pastor Bill will be encouraging you to put on the whole armor of God before you get out of bed. You need to realize that it's only by the power of the Holy Spirit and the truth of God's Word that can help you avoid the fiery darts of the enemy. Ignoring the battle doesn't mean there isn't one happening.

Throughout history, God has long-suffered with humanity up to a specific point, and then allowed judgment to fall when there was no repentance. Many people believe the God of the Old Testament is a God of wrath, and the God of the New Testament is the God of love. Today, Pastor Bill will be explaining how there is only one God and He is unchanging. The same God that allowed the flood in Noah's day, is the same God who will be pouring out wrath on those who reject the sacrifice of Jesus in the End Times.

Today, Pastor Bill will be continuing his teaching through the Book of Genesis, and he'll be challenging you to take real steps of faith in your walk with God. The Bible say's that he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Enoch for example, believed in God with way more limited understanding then you have, yet his faith pleased God and the Lord took him to be with Him. If you want to know what makes God pleased with you, it's when you take Him at His Word.

One of the biggest lies the enemy tells people is that they were a random, mutated accident and they evolved from monkeys. If the Devil can cause you to believe in evolution, then he can make you believe that you weren't created by God and that you have no true meaning and purpose to your life! Today, Pastor Bill will be encouraging you through scripture, proving that you were created by God and that He has predestined you for specific good works. Never forget that God intentionally created you!

After his sin, instead of repenting and leaning into God, Cain went away to become a wanderer. Though God offered help, Cain rejected God. And through him, came a line of those who were far away from Almighty God. Yet, Pastor Bill reminds you God still maintained a remnant of faithful believers. He gave Adam and Eve a new hope in their son, Seth. Through Seth, the people began to call on the name of the Lord again. He revived souls to God once again. And through Him, the promised Messiah came. God never forgets his promises!

Sin is always there in your life. It’s always trying to press in to you. Anger, jealousy, pride pressed in on Cain and instead of pressing in harder to God, he fell further into sin. Pastor Bill reminds you today, that God offers grace, forgiveness and redirection if you accept Jesus. God is so gracious and will forgive anyone who earnestly asks for it! You can master the sin that threatens to undo you. Make the choice to listen to God’s counsel and rely on the spirit of His son within you.

God came to Cain after He murdered his brother Abel to convict him and re-direct his life. He came to offer Cain a way out of the choices he’d made and the life he was living. Today, Pastor Bill reminds you that you can make the choice to do what’s right. Be strong and faithful. Sin is eagerly waiting to devour you. But God loves you so much that he offers a re-do if you repent and humbly depend on Him. There will be consequences to sin, but God still loves you and will be with you as you listen to Him.

After God sent the man and woman out of the Garden, He didn’t just leave them on their own to figure life out. In his mercy, God wanted them to be able to worship him, obey him and have a relationship with him. Because of this, He was present with Cain and Abel. Today, Pastor Bill explains the offerings and the heart that they each had to God. Abel gave the first, the best, out of worship and obedience. He had faith in God and was righteous because of it. Cain, on the other hand gave begrudgingly, not offering his life to God.

God created man and woman, dwelled with them, sought them out to save them after sin, and graciously prophesied to them about the Devil’s demise and the Messiah to come from the woman. Today, Pastor Bill explains how Adam, in faith, trusted God’s promises for the future. In response, he named the woman Eve, which means Mother of all Life, even before she had born a child. You can make decisions in faith, even in the midst of consequences, based on God’s promises.
