If you’re new to Christianity, you might wonder why Christians pray to God. The truth is that Christianity is a relationship with Jesus. And like most relationships, you need steady communication to make it work. You see, prayer is the best way to speak to God, and when you read His Word, He talks to you. So, today, Pastor Bill tells you that if you’re serious about starting a relationship with Jesus, you need to communicate. When you begin your relationship with Christ, He will make Himself present.

Have you ever been to a church where the whole gospel is not preached? It's a serious matter. There are churches worldwide that choose to omit teachings about hell or same-sex relationships, despite the Bible's clear stance on these subjects. Today, Pastor Bill urgently warns about those who teach outside God's Word. Hell is a real place, and it's a destination for those who don’t have Christ in their heart. This is why it's crucial to understand the importance of the whole gospel.

Have you ever heard of John 3:16? It says that God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for the sins of everyone so that whoever believes in Him would not die but have everlasting life. As Christians, you should know that Jesus already paid your price, but what about those who don’t know about Him? That’s why, in today’s message, Pastor Bill wants you to share the gospel and let the world know that Jesus already paid the price for your sin; all you have to do is accept Him. 

Do you remember when you were a kid, and when you’d do well on a test, your parents would say they were proud of you? Your heavenly Father feels the same when you place your faith in Him, even during trials and tribulations. So today, Pastor Bill wants to remind you that when you continue to trust God and build your spiritual endurance, God finds you worthy of His Kingdom. Even when the things in life continue to knock you down, know that God will always be there to pick you back up. 

Do you ever feel like the world's weight rests on your shoulders? If that’s you today, Pastor Bill encourages you to keep listening. You might feel like your life is just one bad season after another. And at times, you may even feel like giving up. But today, Pastor Bill wants you to know that when you place your faith in Christ, you can do anything through Him. Jesus gives you all the strength you need to endure the world. Remember that God will always be with you when you feel abandoned and alone.

Now, I think it’s safe to say that everyone has that one person in their life that can be hard to care for. Whether it’s your family or someone you work with, showing love to someone who doesn’t reciprocate it can be challenging. So today, if you struggle with loving everyone, know that Jesus loved you first, and when you allow Him to work through you, loving everyone becomes easier. 

Today, Pastor Bill wants you to know that if you’re in the body of Christ, you have bragging rights! Now, what does that mean? In the Bible, Paul writes to the church of Thessalonica and commends them for their faith and longsuffering. In fact, Paul tells the church that because of their growing faith during those trials, God’s judgment has proven them worthy of His Kingdom. So today, you should know that when you stand behind your faith, Christ judges you worthy of His Kingdom, and that’s something to brag about!

How careful are you when you interpret the Word of God? There are countless examples in the history of the church where people found a cause and tried to support their cause through incorrectly interpreted scripture. Don’t make that mistake. In his message today, Pastor Tom uses the example of taking up your sword. That’s something we have to be careful with. The Bible is not calling you toward violence against your enemies. You need to realize that you should be putting on the full armor of God for a spiritual battle.

Are you living off the fire of a spiritual experience of the past, or are you seeking to have a new and fresh encounter with God? It’s easy to get stuck in the past. We all have had those times when we were inspired by God or a movement of His people, and we felt alive. In today’s message, Pastor Tom will challenge you to move on. Don’t live in the past. God wants you to sing a new song as the Psalms says. Remember the past, but don’t stay there. Seek to find where God is moving now and be a part of it.

Do you feel like singing and praising God when you’re going through a difficult time in life? It can be hard to thank God when we’re going through a trial. In his message today, Pastor Tom will encourage you to sing and praise God because God deserves it. God is good all the time. God is faithful all the time. Even when you can’t see it, God is faithful. Your emotions and how you “feel” on a particular day shouldn’t dictate whether you should be thanking God or not. He deserves your worship every day.
