Do you have a genuine love for the Lord and His Word? In today’s teaching, Pastor Bill points out that God cares more about your heart than he does about any specific deeds you can do for Him. Perhaps you feel like you are not doing enough for the Lord. Your desire to serve Him should come from a heart that loves Him! If God cared about your works, He would have given you a checklist to “please” Him. He just loves you and longs for a deeper relationship with you. Do you believe that today?  

Thank You, Lord, for loving us, and choosing us even when we fall short! What comfort it brings to know that the God of the Universe calls us His own, and we can call out to Him as our Father. Today, as Pastor Bill continues to teach through Psalms 119, he reflects on the peace that comes with following God. The world will offer every challenge and distraction our way, but nothing can stand up to our God! Is Jesus your God today? Only He can bring the comfort and joy that the world falsely promises.  

Jesus is the ONLY Way, the ONLY Truth, and the ONLY Life. The enemy will tease you with every other possible route but Jesus. In today’s message, Pastor Bill exhorts listeners to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus. Every path of this world always leads to death and eternal separation from God. Choosing Jesus means spending eternity with Him, and experiencing fullness of life on this earth. Have you been searching for “truth” and “life” in all of the wrong places? Call out to Jesus today, and follow Him! 

Are there things we are called to hate as Christ's followers? In today’s teaching, Pastor Bill will answer this difficult question by referencing the only source of Truth - God’s Word. Psalms 119 shows a genuine love for the Word of God, but it also points out the hate that we must have for wrongdoing. We should abhor evil. When we see it in the world, it should disgust us as believers! As your love and fondness for God’s Word grows, so will your “hate” for the evil things you see that are not of God.  

Does the Lord reveal His faithfulness to us, even when we are enduring difficult times? Today, Pastor Bill answers this question with an emphatic “YES” as he highlights the ways that God grows His followers. We should keep our eyes open to how the Lord might be stretching us because we can always trust that His judgments are perfect. Whatever the Lord might be carrying you through today, it is for your good. How can you deepen your relationship with Him, so you might sense when He is moving?

Your decision to commit your life to Jesus will not always be received warmly by those in your life. Scripture states that the proud resist the ways of God. In today’s message, Pastor Bill will prepare listeners for this reality and will challenge them to remain close to the Lord. God knows what you are going through, and is not surprised by the challenges you face. He wants to fill you with His Spirit and sustain you through life! Do you walk in the belief that He cares for and knows what’s best for you?

The truth of walking as a follower of Jesus is that we will face afflictions, but can that be a good thing? In today’s teaching, Pastor Bill will encourage listeners to not be disheartened by the challenges they face, but to embrace the opportunities to grow in faith! Any message that preaches perfect lives for believers is just not true. Yes, we are more equipped to navigate the trials of life, but we are not immune from hardship. How can you grow your perspective and trust in the Lord in the midst of difficulty? 

There is nothing else we need in life, but Jesus - for He is our portion! The Psalmist knew this, but do you? Today, Pastor Bill will teach on the satisfaction and contentment that come with resting in Jesus. Are you battling temptations from all angles some days? Speak the truth of Scripture into your life. You are my portion, O Lord! In Jesus, you will find ultimate comfort and peace. He came and sacrificed to deliver you from Sin, and now He wants to give you life abundantly through Him alone!

The Lord’s love for you is so deep, and He wants to experience a relationship with you on a personal level! What a humbling truth that is. In today’s message, Pastor Bill will challenge listeners to take their eyes off the distractions of this world, and fall in love with the God who loves them! The enemy presents so many alternatives to lure our minds away from the Truth of God’s Love. The Lord’s plans for you are always good! How can you grow your relationship with the One who loves you most?
