The Bible is a textbook to be studied. “Your Words were found and I ate them; and your Words became for me a joy and delight of my soul” (Jer 15:16). Learn the meaning of Scripture under the teaching of a well-qualified pastor. “No prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Pet 1:20-21). If you want to know and understand God you must study His Word on a consistent, daily basis. “Guide me with Your Word and train me, for You are the God of my deliverance; all day long I have confidence in You” (Ps 25:5). Scripture will guide you. “Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Ps 119:105).
