Our show is broken into eight segments. Here’s a breakdown of what goes down in today’s show! (Tip: you can easily move between segments using the chapter feature in your podcast app!)
Segment 1: We open the show with our usual banter. Our guest today is Myles Gollup, writer for local grassroots political news organization PBPolitical (www.pbpolitical.com). Zach talks about the show’s current status with advertisers, we go through the Dallas Diary, and briefly discuss video games.
Segment 2: Is grammatically correct English racist? That’s what a new policy at Rutgers seems to imply. We take a closer look.
Segment 3: We explore a story in Atlanta as the mayor has blocked the sale of water bottles by black street vendors. Was this racist?
Segment 4: A recent article in The Atlantic emphasizes the needlessness of the so-called “hygiene theatre” in the coronavirus age. Zach and Connor dive into the effectiveness of the relentless cleanliness that many institutions seem to be taking on.
Segment 5: Most of this segment is a clip from a recent broadcast of Tucker Carlson Tonight that we comment on later in the show. The clip focuses on social media censorship.
Segment 6: We continue to look at social media censorship, the Democratic influence on the media and big tech, and the overall unimportance of politics relative to Christ.
Segment 7: Zach gives further thoughts on the intersection of faith and politics.
Segment 8: We go through our word of the day segment, this time led by Myles. Then Zach returns to the coronavirus as he questions mainstream science.
