Perfection and how to recognise your perfectionist tendencies and mainly how to stop them, so that you can rapidly increase your confidence, motivation, productivity, be more kind and loving to yourself and mostly to decrease your anxiety and stress levels.
This training is divided into 3 main categories.
1. Recognise your perfectionist tendencies, so that you are clear on what you are dealing with and can easily recognise it
2. Reframe the way you think about perfection, imperfection and failure, so that you can start creating space for a positive change
3. Adopt new ways of thinking and self-help tools to shift things around
I never thought I was a perfectionist, but the truth is that I was. I was constantly doubting everything I did, always feeling like I could have done more, I could have done it differently and better. Often feeling guilty that I have not achieved enough, feeling like I am not good enough, capable enough, smart enough…
I used to beat myself up for every setback I had experienced and this did NOT apply only to my work, university, personal life, but also to my personal development and healing journey – every time I experienced a small setback, I felt like I was a failure and that there was no point for me to try again.( so called black & white thinking)
I had argued that I was not a perfectionist. I blamed it on my high standards and on my big dreams…. Little did I know that one can still have high standards and big dreams and not be a perfectionist. The truth is that everything only becomes easier...
