This week we are joined by visual artist, Mike Thebridge, who works under the title, Visual Flux. Mike did all the artwork for our 2018 trilogy, The Mind’s Eye. We touch on the timelessness of art, art in films and even get on to a little bit of politics.

This week we talk to the 18 year old marketing magician that is Jai Garcha of Alpha Bravo Studios. Jai is a guru when it comes to all things marketing and is an artist and producer in his own right. His company, Alpha Bravo Studios helps artists and business find their audience, recently joining forces with SAFO Music Group.

Goose has worked in the industry as a songwriter, bassist, drummer, singer, manager, producer, promoter and live agent, now working as a booking agent for Diplomats of Sound. He offered an intriguing and rarely insightful look into the live music industry in the UK and further afield, giving some of us the hope we need to continue in this area.

We, of course, also include our regular smegments.

Chris is co-founder and co-director of SAFO Music group, based in London and Portsmouth, where Alex is a producer. SAFO is a studio collective that specialises in artist development, working on songwriting, production, marketing and much more that comes with being an artist. Chris also talks about where he came from, with a few interesting stories that led up to the beginnings of SAFO that we didn’t even know!

When Ben is not making a living playing keys, he goes by the pseudonym, Sketch Benjamin, for filming and editing, which, is exactly what he did for us last year, editing 4 videos for us, including two of our visual trilogy, The Mind’s Eye.

Ben went to university with us (except George but let’s not go there) and has even lived with Alex and Michelle. He is firm member of the family and is no stranger to a podcast.

We talk about session playing, especially in theatre pit bands, saying yes to work even though you have no prior experience and we introduce a brand new smegment!
