Hey insiders!
Let me start by thanking all of you for your support and love since I launched Your LinkedIn Gal Podcast.
I'm wrapping up my podcast's first season today and hope you have been taking all the necessary ACTIONS to all the tips I've shared with you to level up your LinkedIn Game.
The LinkedIn Gal Podcast will be back soon with lots of fresh content and even more tips for you and your business.
Now on today's episode...
How does LinkedIn differ from the rest of the social media platforms? The AUDIENCE!!
LinkedIn not only has the largest professional network in the world, but also demonstrates a high-intent mindset to learn and do business.
Still not convinced?
About 49% of LinkedIn members earn more than 75K USD per year, and these professionals crave for quality content on the platform, but only 2% members are creating content on LinkedIn on a weekly basis.
That means it is WAY easier to dominate your news feed with your marketing and sales messages. (Pssst, but do remember GIVE before you TAKE!)
Don't I tell you time and time again that LinkedIn is the best platform to be successful with your business?
However, like any other social media platform, we tend to JUST focus on attracting followers, the likes, the comments and other vanity metrics.
And thought that the MORE followers we have, the MORE successful our business will be.
I hate to break it to you today, that’s just WRONG.
There is no point in measuring vanity metrics, if you cannot attract clients.
In today’s episode, we're going to explore how it doesn't matter how many followers we have if we're not able to generate enough sales on the platform.
Short on time? Here are the highlights from this episode:
[01:12] Today is the last episode of Season 1 and Season 2 is coming back soon

How do you decide if you should stay on your 9-5 job or take the leap of faith and become your own boss?
How have you handled your life decisions when faced with social pressure?
You should know, my friend, that being an entrepreneur isn't easy, but it is incredibly rewarding.
We all face challenges in life, but how you deal with them determines whether or not your business will succeed.

We will talk about Niraj’s personal story of becoming his own boss, how easy to get stuck making both work and personal decisions at the same time, 3 important steps to stand out on LinkedIn and how we can overcome all challenges we face throughout our lives to become successful in our businesses.

Given that there are over 800 million professionals on LinkedIn, one of the first ideas you might think of is how awesome it would be if a percentage of them visited your website, right?
Would it surprise you to learn that LinkedIn does not favor this idea and will penalize you as a result?
The problem is not with your website.
Like other social platforms, LinkedIn doesn’t like content that drives members off the platform.
Be mindful to put external links on your LinkedIn posts, so how will you be able to promote your business 100% via LinkedIn Content?
In order to gain a better reach and social engagement, we should show some respect to the platform.
In today’s episode, I will share with you 2 strategies for driving traffic to your website and promoting your business using external links.

Today, we'll talk about LinkedIn Polls, shall we?
I know what you're thinking, almost every 3-5 posts we see on LinkedIn are poll-related, right?
I know tons of peeps find it annoying, but as your biggest LinkedIn Cheerleader, here’s what I’ll say:
LinkedIn polls are a great type of post to consider if you are just starting out.
You will not only be able to learn who your audience is, but you will also be able to avoid writing lengthy articles and other types of posts that may seem daunting at first.
The only thing you need to do is come up with ONE question and FOUR answers.
It’s the easiest and simplest way to start creating content on LinkedIn.
But, it's how you use it that makes all the difference.
Seriously, I am not a fan of those asking whether you've had your lunch or dinner yet…or do you prefer to work from home or go back to the office… (Totally outdated)
This great feature can be used by anyone on LinkedIn, but to be successful with it, you need to learn how to use it correctly.
Polls don't appeal to every one, since some people cannot see the value in them.
However, once you become adept at using them, you'll start seeing a boost in engagement and interaction with your audience.
In this episode, I will share with you 3 creative ways you can start using LinkedIn Polls today.
Short on time? Here are the highlights from this episode:
[01:44] Let’s talk about LinkedIn Polls
[03:03] A little bit of a history lesson
[03:29] How to launch a Linkedin Poll?
[05:18] How can I come up with a poll question?

Imagine you're scrolling through LinkedIn and you find something that truly catches your interest.
It can either be a video, audio, a document, or you just want to read the comments.
The longer you spend on a post, the higher their dwell time will be - this is where the magic happens.
And why should you worry about this "dwell time"?
Well, this is a LinkedIn algorithm and something you should look out for, especially now that everyone is receiving fewer views on their posts every day.
Linkedin measures the level of activity on a post, and this is where the real traction comes from.
Every time you create LinkedIn content, dwell time is an extremely important factor to keep in mind.
In today’s episode, I'll share with you the secret to making your audience spend more time on your post, increasing the number of views and engagement, which means you'll also increase your dwell time on LinkedIn.
Short on time? Here are the highlights from this episode:
[01:27] What is happening with the LinkedIn algorithm now?

Christmas is just around the corner, can you believe it?
One of my favourite holidays is already here, and I can't believe how fast the year has gone.
I especially cherish this day because it's the only holiday of the year where my husband and I have always celebrated together.
I'm thankful for many things in my life, and the last few years have been especially crazy.
Have you ever had to make a life-changing decision? It's not easy, is it?
For me, it meant having to choose between pursuing my dream career at that particular moment and moving abroad to live with my husband at the beginning of COVID.
We have been living with this global pandemic for a while now, and it has made me rethink my priorities, and I decided to value relationships over career.
While some people didn't agree with my decision, I did it anyway because it was the right thing to do.
Not only do I get to share my daily life with the person I love, I also get to grow a business that I would not have if I had not followed my heart.
Did you ever feel like you were so right about a decision that others might not understand it and call you crazy?
Today, I want to share my very own story and journey with you in the hopes that it will inspire you to take the leap of faith you need to achieve the life you desire.
Short on time? Here are the highlights from this episode:
[01:28] I sincerely appreciate each and every one of you!
[02:15] Why Christmas is extra special to me
[03:40] How COVID forced me to rethink my priorities
