What if you decided to say YES to what you desire?
It is easy to say NO, but what if saying YES could lead your life in a different direction?
We constantly say YES to stuff we don't want to do with people we don't want to be around and places we don't want to go. When we say NO, it's because we let fear speak instead of diving into the possibilities of adventures. My life felt stagnant and dried up when I stopped saying YES to experiences. However, everything changed for me when I began to step out of fear and into a fabulous faith-filled manifesting life.
In this episode, I am discussing the thing that kept me from stepping out of my comfort zone, what motivated me to start living life in the unknown and why you need to embrace adventure and say YES to life's serendipitous moments.

I discovered this summer that the act of productivity is found in my slowing down. And in this podcast episode, I discuss the reason I embrace a slow summer and three essential ways you can incorporate a slower, sustainable way of being.

Have you ever been called bougie, high maintenance, or someone said who do you think you are?
If this resonates with you, then this particular episode is for you. Throughout my adult life, the term bougie was a label many people used to describe me. In my younger years, I would constantly try to disassociate myself from this label to receive acceptance from others, especially in my friend groups. However, I am at a placein my life where this term brings me a sense of joy.
In this episode, I discuss why I embrace the term bougie, what it really means, redefining the word, and three ways you can become unapologetically bougie.
What does it mean to be a strong black woman and how has this label crippled black women?
If you glance in Webster’s dictionary, the term strong is defined as the capacity for exertion or endurance. When you state that someone is strong, it is often received as a proud statement or a compliment; however, over the last couple of years, African American women are choosing to redefine their strength.
In this episode, I am discussing how this label affected my life, how it has allowed black women to embrace the superwoman syndrome, and five ways we can redefine this label and take back the narrative from society.

If you aren't being treated with love and respect, check your price tag. Maybe you've marked yourself down. It's YOU who tells people what your worth is. Get off the clearance rack and get behind the glass where they keep the valuables. ~Author Unknown~
In 1965 Aretha Franklin released a powerful song entitled Respect, which is still relevant today. Self-respect is a catalyst for you to understand the power of your choices and honor your values while no longer settling for the bare minimum.
Throughout my life, I consistently settled for people, places, and things that didn't serve my life. Once I began to invest in myself, I started to see the treasure within myself.
In this episode, I discuss ways to improve your self-respect by taking inventory of what you believe about yourself, the importance of self-investing, and no longer settling for the bare minimum that life serves you.

Investing in yourself is the best investment you can make. ~Author Unknown~
We were taught the importance of investing our time, care, and energy into others, not ourselves. We often find ourselves giving so much to others that the loyalty becomes enslavement. However, when you invest in your well-being first, it increases your self-love, self-confidence & self-worth. In the last several years, I have been on a self-discovery journey and realized how self-investing can enrich your life value.
In this episode, I am discussing my journey of self-investing, why investing in yourself is a vibe, and three simple tips that can help you no longer put your needs and desires on the backburner.
Often we don't know how to accept or love ourselves because we have buried under the lies of others' opinions, negative self-talk, and society's opinions. However, if you want to rise above people defaming your character and embrace your royal journey, you must be willing to let go of everyone's idea of who they think you might be.
For many years of my life, I let the opinions of others shape my identity, and I embrace the idea of not being worthy of anything good in my life. I allowed toxic friendships and relationships to define me with verbally abusive words, gaslighting, and defamation of character. However, in the last several years, I have rebuilt my self-confidence, self-love, and self-worth by believing in my extraordinary self.
In this episode, I discuss five critical ways to let go of toxic thoughts, self-hate, and lies that plague your life due to people choosing to see the worst instead of bringing out the best in you.
