In a worldly culture where everything feels like a contractual agreement, I will keep up mine if you keep your end. Where is there room for covenant relationships? I will do you regardless of what I receive in return.
In this episode, I look at what a covenant relationship should look like.
Are you showing love and respect regardless of what is reciprocated back to you? or is it conditional?
Hope you enjoy this episode.

Isn't interesting how much we use the word "love" today. It has almost become just another common word within our vocabulary. It can at times feel like it is just used flippantly. I believe we have diminished the value or meaning of love.
I encourage you to take the challenge I provide at the end of this week's episode. After all, this is a storm we all face every single day!

In this episode, I am excited to share my conversation with the co-founders of LiveGood, an organic nutritional supplement company.
I am excited because helping others live inspired and levelling up their performance is a mission of mine and I believe the mission of LiveGood helps with that. We have so many choices to make bad or negative whether it be food or thoughts. We have the ability to choose life!
In this episode, we talk about the pain points the Goodkin's saw in the current healthcare system or as Ryan puts it, “the system has created a sick care model where people get trapped, even the practitioners are trapped and many of them are unaware.” This is a strong statement but one that he points to as motivation to make a change in other people’s lives.
We also, talk about how we can take our healthcare into our own hands and not simply rely on the system to handle it for us. We discuss how education is key and why supplementation is vital to living healthy lifestyles today more than ever. We break down their clean organic supplement line and how to best optimize them in our daily routines.

Ryan has been a pharmacist for over 13 years but his view of healthcare has shifted and he no longer finds reward in the traditional pharmacy setting. Ryan has a doctorate in pharmacy and he was a multiple pharmacy owner for many years until he decided to leave it behind and focus on preventive medicine thru awareness, education and action. The last part of that statement is at his core, the movement and transfer of energy into positive action is what he believes is the difference in functional medicine. Ryan lives this lifestyle to the fullest, he makes a point to be an altruistic leader by example and he plans to never stop learning.
If Ryan could be granted one sweeping change, he would wish for people to be more engaged in managing their health, treating their bodies with respect and dignity and developing lasting, lifelong habits that can be used to set good examples for those around them. Ryan has said, “Our messaging from the top down is all wrong, we have been misled and body, mind, spirit and our natural surroundings are paying the ultimate price.”

The storm on the horizon...
Now is an excellent time to prepare and double down on your growth. Many during the sunny days coast on their output. It is easier to do well in a flourishing economy however it gets more demanding in a tighter leaner economy. We need to be ready to LEVEL UP!
So what can we do…Here are 9 Ideas to help you prepare and level up
1) Prepare and anticipate leaner times, the storm - Wayne Gritzy He would anticipate where the shot was going
2) Up your risk tolerance - if you feel over-leveraged in areas, sell something. Start living leaner now…cost grocery budgets
3) Carry Cash - sell things around the house to have cash on hand.
4) Avoiding any major real estate deals unless you plan to live there 10+ yrs
5) Have a plan in place in your home and business…have the meetings now. Get everyone on board.
6) Precious metals
7) Protect your career - easy to fake success in fatter sunnier days. In leaner times employers require more production…Google/Facebook
8) Do the work - personal development and professional - increase your urgency and necessity
One last idea -
9) Don’t do it alone…have a community - buffalos go into the storms together

My guest in this episode is Jill Dennes a passionate young lady looking to make her mark in the world despite the storms she's face.
Jill was the last woman standing at the amazing backyard ultra event, The Mid-State Mile. She set the women's record going toe to toe with other amazing athletes.
We talk about her mother's death and her addiction to Adderall. She shares how Crossfit to work through the anger and it then become her outlet to work through the loss.
I love her mindset to just try something new. Just jump in and figure it out as you go!

Jill has been a Health and Fitness Coach for 10+ years and has always loved helping others live their best life through health and fitness. She not only loves challenging others to be their best, but she loves challenging herself to do things she never thought were possible. Her life quickly turned upside down when she lost her mom very unexpectedly to a Stroke in 2016. She then turned to CrossFit as her outlet. She loved the sport and hasn't turned back. She is now a CrossFit Coach and helps others gain the confidence and strength she knows they have within them. Jill has always been a "natural runner" but never really ran more than a 5K every Sunday when she lived in Florida (2014-2020). It wasn't until 2021 she did her first Trail Race (25K) in PA. She hasn't looked back since! She has found another love besides CrossFit and that is the Running Community! She is excited to keep challenging herself with more races and to see where it takes her!

Lesson Learned Through The Carolina Reaper Challenge - Death Pepper 50K
I share my thoughts, the challenges I had and how I got through them. If you are not a runner, that's ok...This is not a running podcast. I just use running long distances to challenge myself to endure hardship in a simi-control way.
It is a stress inoculator if you will. A way to push the body to a place where my thoughts of quitting are challenging. How do I deal with those thoughts in this endurance event so that I can endure the difficult things in life. The storms that come my way. So I can practice having the buffalo mindset of pressing through the storm.

In this episode I share some thoughts on what can effect us when facing a storm... the road we've been called to travel. Only we have been given the grace to travel this road; not our family, not our friends. Don't let sympathy keep you from the suffering you've been given the grace to endure.
Use the pain of the storm to know how others might feel; use it to have more empathy and to help others through their pain. Avoidance is not The Inspired Way.
