On this week’s show I started by talking about the Planetside Arena Early Access Update #2 that dropped on October 3rd with some changes to dynamic pain fields, chat options and more. After that I wanted to talk about Carto’s introduction on the Planetside Arena Reddit and how important that was along with the increase in response to Reddit posts by him and the rest of the Planetside Arena developers. Finally, I wanted to talk about a post I skipped last week, why there probably won’t be a Planetside 3 and how that makes me sad.

On this week’s show I started by covering the September 27th Planetside Arena Early Access Update which brought us not only a new Mod case purchasable with only Credits which assuages some of my P2W concerns but also a bunch of bug fixes. After that I talked about the September 25th PC Hotfix and September 26th PS4 Hotfix which brought the return of Halloween themed items plus a new Weapon and Armor bundle for the PC to celebrate Planetside Arena’s early access. Then it was other Planetside 2 news about a TTK/1v1 calculator and the announcement that Planetside 2 Archives is shutting down too.

On this week’s show I started by heralding the launch of Planetside Arena as a free to play *surprisedpikachu.jpg* on Steam! I then spent the next 10 minutes explaining why the game feels dead on arrival and the Pay to Win title that Planetside 2 isn’t. Don’t worry, I had a few good things to say about the game too. After that, it was two bad news stories back to back with d0ku’s announcement that he was not going to create anything else for Planetside 2 and the news that Iridar.net went dark because he didn’t want to pay to host a site for a game he no longer plays. After I got all the bad news out of the way it was time for a feel good story of a player named FuzzBuket who landed a dream job thanks to Daybreak Games and Player Studio.

On this week’s show I started by covering the September 11th PS4 Game Update which brought parity between the two systems with Aerial Anomalies, the new Bounty system, the new Prowler Defensive slot and much more. After that I talked about the termination of the Planetside Arena NDA and how I really feel about Planetside Arena and the future of Daybreak Game and even this podcast. I finished this week by talking about some really cool desktop wallpapers that you should definitely download.

On this week’s show I’ll start by saying it was a slow news week for Planetside 2 news, thankfully Planetside Arena picked up the slack. I started by talking about my participation in the beta and how you can too. Then I went over the First Look video that the Devs released for Planetside Arena. I went over the good, the bad and the ugly aspects of it. After that I did talk briefly about a new Planetside 2 bot for Telegram users that sounds really cool. I wrapped up this week with some more listener e-mail.

On this week’s show I started by talking about all the Planetside Arena news that dropped on the 27th. We now know that early PC access starts on the 19th and that they have plans for new Classes, Vehicles and Game Modes. Get hyped! After that I switched back to Planetside 2 and talked about the August 28th PC Game Update which changed Aerial Anomalies, brought back Bounties plus much more. I finished this week by talking about the Playstation 4 Hotfix and then read some new listener e-mail.

On this week’s show I started by talking about the August 23rd PTS Update which brought us a new Prowler toy. After that I spent the majority of the show talking about the sad news that the Briggs server will be shut down on August 27th at 6am PST. I also talked about the final sendoff that is being planned for the server on the 26th, so don’t miss it. Even though it’s at Midnight for me, I’ll be there to send Briggs off properly. On this week’s show I first covered the extremely small PC hotfix and then dove right into Wrel’s Development Letter. It was a true gold mine with Mentor information, a new Death Cam and Mandates. I’m really excited for this Fall. After that I talked about the August 15th PTS update which immediately dropped some of the things he talked about like the new Death Cam. I finished this week talking about the return of advertising and my thoughts in marketing Planetside 2.
