While it could seem like an abstract concept, the fact that resistance exists and sabotages your success is so far from abstract...it is very real.
That is why we have named this "the resistance is real". If you've ever tried to do something big and have had to do it with the fear, you have heard the voice in your head
say, "Nothings going right, this isn't meant to be"
Most of us grew up looking for the "signs” that it wasn't in the plan. For me(NiCole), it links back to the way I lived out my faith.
If it was God's Will then it will all work out. I think this narrative, more than any other, has held us back from more things we could have done,
The Roots of Resistance:
Negative Self Talk
Fear: imposter syndrome (fear of being a phony), fear of failure or success, intrusive thoughts anxiety and worry.
Circumstances: like lack of support. whether it be physical support or emotional or even just belief

Action--even sloppy action
Look for conformation
Create a clear direction
Expect the resistance to come
The path that is right should force us to Lean on God. The best stories have a struggle, or they wouldn't be worth the listen.
