  • 10 Weeks to Transform Your Productivity

10 Weeks to transform your productivity

We have an exciting plan to help you reach your goals and become the best you that you can be! Beginning next week, we will take you through 10 of the best productivity books on the market, one book per week.

This is going to be a very interactive series, because you will only be transformed if you actually take the steps, make the changes, and start the actions needed to improve. We will be with you each step of the way.

Join the Genuine Genuine Women Mastermind to work together with other like-minded ladies on this same journey.

“Genuine Driven Women Mastermind group.”  You can also search for “Genuine Driven Women” on Facebook and you can find it very easily that way too.

Each week I will create action steps for each of us to work toward, based on the books we read. The books and the sequence we will progress through them have been purposefully laid out. When we are through the last book, you will already have accomplished more in 10 weeks than you did all the previous months of the year and you will have a robust plan as you head in to 2019. Imagine 2019 for a moment.  2019 could be the year that all your dreams will come true, that you accomplish more than you imagined was possible and you also have time to enjoy life and to reap the benefits from your productive life. That is what I want for you and that is who you will be if you come along with us on this productivity journey.

The first book, for next week will be “Getting Things Done” by David Allen

As a side note, if you aren’t able to read the book prior to listening, we will give you a high-level overview and will give you enough information so that you can work through the exercises with us. So, even if you do not read the books, you will learn A LOT from each episode. Still, each one of these books are packed with so many nuggets of goodness and there is no way we can cover everything in them, so I highly encourage you to read each of them as you work along with us to transform our productivity!

The entire list is here with links to get your own copy in ANY format:

“The One Thing” by Gary Keller, with Jay Papasan

“First Things First” by Stephen Covey

“The 30-Day Productivity Plan” by Damon Zahariade

“The NOW Habit” by Neil Fiore

“Smarter Faster Better” by Charles Duhig

    “Deep Work” by Cal Newport

“Eat That Frog!” By Brian Tracy

“Finish what you start” by Craig S. Copeland

  • Navigating the Sea of Emotion
The key is to use your emotion well, both as a team member and as a leader.  Do not use it recklessly. When used properly, it can be your most powerful asset. Your emotion will connect you to others, their emotion will make them care about you and make them want to follow you.  If we listen to each other’s emotion, we will learn more and become more and make better decisions.

  • If You Don't Change: You die.

Today's discussion is titled:  If You Don't Change: You die.

This is a very dramatic and final sense of the difference between Life, Stagnation, and Death, but you only have so many years here on earth and you have such big ideas, dreams, and goals.  Every day is an opportunity to move toward your dreams, and in a very similar thought, if you are not moving toward your dreams – you are moving away from them.

  • Feedback: A gift worth receiving
Feedback about how we are doing (in any situation) is useful and if it is given with thoughtfulness and with helpfulness in mind, it is a gift. Listening to feedback about yourself can be hard, but if you learn to not only listen, but respond gracefully to it, and reflect upon it properly, it can be the gift that keeps on giving.
