I am honored to be speaking with the founders of the Good Grief App. Kim and Robynne created this social network for loss out of their personal pain and suffering. Kim shares in the episode her multiple losses as well as Robynne's. They connected through a mutual friend and began texting for over a year, sharing their stories, and ultimately became each other's support system, as well as long life friends. They knew they had a created a special connection, and felt a need to create a support system for others grieving like themselves. In a ten-year time frame, she lost her father, mother, marriage, and most recently her life partner. Navigating the grief path as a single mother of two boys, ages 9 and 11, has proved challenging.
