Annina Kaski is a London-based Finnish born actor who trained at the Court Theatre Training Company.​

Alongside acting, Annina writes for screen, specialising in short films and comedy sketches. She is also the writer, producer and star of two web series, ‘Mordecai’s Girl’ and ‘Me, Myself & Her’. She likes to jump between bleak drama and absurd comedy in her writing, and often explores mental health.

Mordecai's Girl has been selected as a Semi-Finalist at the First Glance Film Festival in LA.

We talk about creating your own content to get out of an acting slump, starting to write and the battle with social media and stats.

This week I am joined by Lauren Cornelius. She came on to have a chat with me about the real hustle and how to  get involved with Radio Drama and voiceover work.

Born and raised in Camden, Lauren graduated from Drama Studio London in 2017 and is a member of National Youth Theatre.   

She was a recent member of the BBC Radio Drama Company, and regularly featured in productions on BBC R3 & R4 and has worked with amazing audio drama companies like Big Finish where she starred as Ivy Clark alongside David Tennent and Catherine Tate in Doctor Who.

Lauren is a multitalented performer with an amazing drive. We talk about being persistent, getting those door’s open and immersing yourself in the work.

My first guest this series is the amazing Helen Raw, actor, singer, producer and co-founder of British Actors Network. Helen is a powerhouse and doesn’t take anyone’s sh*t! She’s taken Twitter by storm and getting rid of scam agencies, bogus castings and fighting for actors rights wherever she can.
