Next to be seen in Afia Nkrumah’s ‘A Place of Safety’ and Comedy Crowd’s ‘Box of Charms’.

This week I am joined by Life Coach Emma Grier we discuss how actors and creatives can manage stress and anxiety and deal with change and uncertainty (especially right now!)

Circle of Influence: Draw one circle in the middle of the page and write or draw what you can control in it. Then around that circle write or draw everything you can't. Reflect on what you've written/ drawn and how this might influence how you want to spend your time and what you want to focus on.

Free writing: Set a timer and write for 5-10 minutes without stopping and without judging what you've written. Then you can read it, throw it away, leave it, do whatever you like with it. 

Daily practices or exercises for when you are feeling anxious: 

-Write down 3 things you did well today 

-Write down 3 things you're grateful for today

Connecting to your senses: (With eyes closed or open) Notice 1 thing you can hear, 1 thing you can smell, 1 thing you can see, 1 thing you can feel and 1 thing you can taste.
