This episode is a true pleasure to bring to you. I welcome the incredible Dan Tocchini, a visionary with a groundbreaking approach to business and leadership coaching. Dan and his team at Take New Ground have helped industry titans like Nike, US Navy Seals, and Oprah Winfrey Network accurately assess their leadership landscape, assess conscious and unconscious blind spots, and transform their organization to align with their vision.
Dan pulls no punches. Far from going through the motions, he’s one of the few coaches I’ve seen who challenges individuals (including myself) to check their egos and get real with themselves. We talk about how to turn conflict into an opportunity to identify business goals, what our reactions to others disagreeing with us mean about our psyche, and how we don’t get anything done on our own — we need a team. Plus, he shares some of his personal history and what drove him to the work he does today.
If you’re ready to hear a fascinating conversation, tune into this episode! ______________________________________________________

In this solocast, I reflect on the importance of having a sense of community as an entrepreneur. Spending an inspiring weekend at a mastermind with other passionate leaders left me with a very real understanding that I’m not alone. It also left me with new perspectives, new ideas, and a revived sense of connection and trust built with like-minded people.
I share my takeaways from my weekend, along with some of the ways we lifted each other up. The right people will gently but firmly challenge your thought processes and perspectives, acting as mirrors to reveal your blind spots. I reflect on how the pandemic changed the way we connect and why spontaneous, in-person connections can fuel powerful conversations. Plus, I talk about one of my blind spots, and how this mastermind helped me recognize and move past it.
If you want new perspectives on the power of community, this episode is for you!

In this soulful episode, I connect with Nat Harrison, a dear friend and true inspiration for those seeking to live in alignment with their true selves. Owner of the conscious movement studio SAOR and author of the brilliant book Return to You, Nat is a luminary who understands the power of vulnerability, movement, and embracing all parts of ourselves. Her commitment to these principles allows women who come to her studio to let go and drop into their authentic nature.
We go deep in this episode, discussing the personal and professional experiences that brought Nat to where she is today. From learning the importance of mental health at age 18, to opening a business right before the pandemic shuttered it (and still thriving throughout those years), to incorporating science-based spiritual principles later in life, the conversation nourished my spirit. It’s no wonder so many women are drawn to Nat and her services, and believe it or not, her highly successful studio is entirely referral-based!
If you’re ready for a conversation that gets you thinking, this episode is for you! _________________________________________________________

Return to You by Nathania Harrison
In this episode, I talk about an aspect of business that’s essential to your long-term, sustainable success: organizational structure. I spend a lot of time working with founders on this topic. I find many come to me knowing that they need additional talent but without clarity on how those new hires fit into the puzzle of their organization.
I discuss why seeking clarity and being strategic is the best first step to take before creating an organizational structure. A strategic session might look like clarifying your vision, looking at your current reality (including what skill sets are missing on your team), understanding where you want to go, and considering who might be the best fit to support your goals. Once you’ve taken these steps, designing an organizational design follows naturally. Plus, I give tips on how to level and layer roles in a way that supports your long-term goals.
If you want to learn about one of the most crucial aspects of your company’s success, join me in this episode!

In this soulful and satisfying episode, I talk with the amazing Kristina Bartold, both a friend and fellow female entrepreneur. Kristina co-founded The Social Snippet, a highly successful social media marketing agency, and High-Vibe Woman, a community for Canadian entrepreneurs. She is also a personal development coach and all-around inspiring human.
Kristina and I talk about how her path to entrepreneurship unfolded, and we get a little woo about divine timing. She shares the strategy she used at The Social Snippet that earned her 70 active clients in two and a half years. One major stress point for many founders is their people strategy; for Kristina, it’s no different. We discuss the difference between reactive and proactive hiring and why hiring someone you adore without considering their skill set can waste valuable resources. Plus, I share how I went from overwhelmed to inspired when facing new and scary territory as a business owner.

This episode explores the parallels between two of my favorite things: Seeing the world and building a business. I recorded it after a three-week family vacation to England and Sweden, one of many trips we’ve taken over the years. Travel is a big part of my identity, and I absolutely love it for its own sake. That said, I’m struck by how many aspects of it actually help me be a more effective, resilient founder.
There’s something about packing up my things, heading to an airport, and sitting down with a book or journal on a plane, train, or automobile that really gets my creativity flowing. In fact, I’ve found that the inspiration I feel on the road helps me get past limiting beliefs and blocks that may be affecting my work. Imaginative thinking isn’t the only aspect of travel that supports me as an entrepreneur. I share how dealing with the unexpected cultivates resilience, why I love a balance between being grounded and expanded, and more.

In this episode, I chat with Lukas Hermann, an inspiring entrepreneur from the fascinating Software as a Service (SaaS) world. He’s the creator of numerous digital products, including the ingenious Stage Timer, a web-based timer app that supports stage presentations, events, and live streams with synchronization between devices. I first got to know Lukas on Twitter, where he has a powerful presence and a wealth of knowledge he shares freely. We talk about Lukas’s business-building journey: Before creating Stage Timer, he had no experience in the world of events management. But in true entrepreneurial fashion, he saw an opportunity, seized it, and went with it. Lukas and I cover everything from the thrill of launching a business to working while traveling to the delicate dance of having your romantic partner double as your business partner. Plus, I give Lukas real-time advice on how to hire proactively, tactfully, and strategically. Ready for some inspiration? In today’s brief episode, I lay out one of the most common limiting beliefs I see founders and entrepreneurs make. Limiting beliefs aren’t always about a lack of faith in our own abilities. Sometimes, we place limitations on others, especially when it comes to our company.
When your business is your baby, it’s easy to slip into the mindset that no one can do things as well as you. But when we insist on taking everything on ourselves, we risk spreading ourselves too thin. Can you guess what happens when you’re trying to perform too many roles in your company? I talk about why letting go of control might just be what you need to move the needle. Plus, I’ll share what I’ve noticed happens when people finally let go of the reins.
If you’re ready to let go of what’s keeping your business behind, join me in this episode! _________________________________________________________

Join me in today’s episode, where I chat with two incredible mergers and acquisition attorneys, Omeed Tabiei & Joe Prencipe. Founders of Optimist Legal, this powerhouse duo is redefining law in the Software as a Service (SAAS) space. Don’t look to these two for stodgy advice from people who don’t get business (which is often the case in the legal field). Not only are they highly successful lawyers, they know what it means to build, scale, and sell their own businesses.
I get to know these two both on a personal and a professional level. They share the self-development and high-performance books that revolutionized their lives while also revealing the most common limiting beliefs they see among business owners. Joe and Omeed discuss mistakes founders make regarding mindset and how they approach selling their businesses. Plus, they talk about how to view your company as an asset at all times and why it's essential to do so during all development cycles.

In today’s episode, we get real about leadership. Heading a business is not a static role. To retain top talent and nurture the performance you want from your team, you have to be honest with yourself about how you lead. This means asking a few questions: Are you making assumptions about what your team knows? Have you ensured your team has crystal clarity about their roles? Are you investing in yourself as a leader?
I discuss the Achilles' heel I see among so many founders and how it prevents them from seeing their team clearly. I share a time and energy-saving hack that helps you and new hires instantly clarify expectations and roles. We reframe what it means to invest in an executive coach or leadership training. Plus, I talk about what mindset you need to adopt when your business starts feeling like a roller coaster and you’re losing control.
Are you ready for a transformational approach to leadership? Join me in this episode! ______________________________________________________
