Long ago, demons preyed on humans, feeding their souls to their ruler Gwi-Ma. Eventually, three women became demon hunters and sealed the demons away with a magical barrier called the Honmoon. Their legacy continued across the generations, with each new trio using their singing voices to maintain the Honmoon, working to eventually strengthen it into the Golden Honmoon – a final seal that would banish demons permanently.

In the present, the K-pop girl group Huntr/x – comprised of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey – is the latest demon-hunting trio under the guidance of Celine, a previous hunter who raised Rumi. After completing their world tour, Huntr/x release and prepare for the first live performance of a new single, "Golden", until Rumi begins losing her voice due to her secret demon heritage, which only Celine knows. As a child, Rumi was told by Celine that turning the Honmoon gold would erase her demon marks.

In the demon world, Gwi-Ma grows enraged at his minions' failures. Five demons, led by former human Jinu, form a K-pop boy band called the Saja Boys to steal Huntr/x's fans and weaken the Honmoon, in exchange for Gwi-Ma erasing Jinu's human memories. Huntr/x quickly discover the Saja Boys' demonic nature while encountering them during their debut. Jinu discovers Rumi's demon marks as they fight, but helps hide it from her bandmates.

Meeting her privately, Jinu tells Rumi that feelings of shame enslave demons through voices from Gwi-Ma. He reveals that around 400 years earlier, Gwi-Ma granted him a beautiful voice that helped him and his family emerge from poverty, but then condemned him to the demon world; Jinu now lives with guilt over his family's subsequent downfall.

As the Idol Awards approach, Huntr/x rush to produce a new song, "Takedown", to expose the Saja Boys while their popularity skyrockets. Mira grows suspicious when Rumi questions if "Takedown" is too hateful toward demons. Torn between her identities, Rumi proposes a plan to Jinu: if he helps Huntr/x win the Idol Awards and strengthen the Honmoon, he could freely stay in the human world.

As the Honmoon weakens and more souls are stolen by demons, Mira tells Rumi to prioritize saving lives over rewriting "Takedown". Rumi confides in Jinu that her shame over her heritage weakened her voice, but talking with him healed it. Jinu confirms he no longer hears voices thanks to Rumi, and agrees to sabotage the Saja Boys. Gwi-Ma then summons Jinu, reminding him of their deal and the truth that he abandoned his family for a life of wealth and comfort, before threatening to bring back the tormenting voices unless he obeys him.

At the Idol Awards, the Saja Boys fail to appear, and Huntr/x perform "Golden", having chosen to shelve "Takedown" due to the contention it caused within the group. However, impostor demons sent by Jinu split Mira and Zoey from Rumi, then pose as them to trick Rumi into performing "Takedown", during which they publicly reveal her demon marks. She flees the stage and runs into the real Mira and Zoey, who feel betrayed upon learning of her heritage and collusion with Jinu. Rumi confronts Jinu for tricking her, and he admits to lying about his past.

Wednesday is an American supernatural mystery comedy[2] television series based on the character Wednesday Addams by Charles Addams. Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, it stars Jenna Ortega as the titular character, with Gwendoline Christie, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Hunter Doohan, Percy Hynes White, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Georgie Farmer, Naomi J. Ogawa, Christina Ricci, and Moosa Mostafa appearing in supporting roles. Four out of the eight episodes of the first season were directed by Tim Burton, who also was executive producer. The first season revolves around Wednesday Addams, who attempts to solve a murder mystery at her new school.

Burton was previously approached to direct the 1991 film The Addams Family and was later involved in a canceled stop-motion animated film featuring the Addams Family. In October 2020, he was reported to be helming a television series, which was later given a series order by Netflix. Ortega was cast in part to represent the character's Latina heritage. Ricci, who had played Wednesday in the 1991 film and its 1993 sequel Addams Family Values, was asked by Burton to join the series in a supporting role. Filming took place in Romania between September 2021 and March 2022.

Wednesday premiered on November 16, 2022, and was released on Netflix on November 23 to positive reviews from critics; Ortega's performance received critical acclaim.[4] Within three weeks of release, it became the second-most watched English-language Netflix series. It received two Golden Globe nominations: Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy and Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy for Ortega. It also won four Primetime Emmy Awards, while receiving nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Ortega. In January 2023, the series was renewed for a second season, which premiered on August 6, 2025; the second half is expected to be released on September 3. In July 2025, the series was renewed for a third season.

Premise

Wednesday Addams is expelled from her school after dumping live piranhas into the school's pool in retaliation for the boys' water polo team bullying her brother Pugsley. Consequently, her parents Gomez and Morticia Addams transfer her to their high school alma mater Nevermore Academy, a private school for monstrous outcasts, in the town of Jericho, Vermont. Wednesday's cold, emotionless personality and her defiant nature make it difficult for her to connect with her schoolmates and cause her to run afoul of the school's principal Larissa Weems. However, she discovers she has inherited her mother's psychic abilities, which allow her to solve a local murder mystery.

In the second season, Wednesday returns to Nevermore and while developing her psychic abilities she must face a new tormentor and prevent her roommate's death. In addition, Pugsley enrolls at Nevermore as Weems' successor Barry Dort wants Morticia to take on a fundraising role.

In 1960, on Earth-828, astronauts Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Ben Grimm, and Johnny Storm embarked on a mission into outer space, during which they gained superhuman abilities from cosmic rays. Upon returning to Earth, they became the superhero team known as the Fantastic Four.

Four years later, the Fantastic Four have become celebrities and are regarded as the world's protectors. During a family dinner, Reed and Sue reveal to Ben and Johnny that they are expecting a child. A few months later, the Silver Surfer suddenly appears to announce to the people of Earth that their planet has been marked for destruction by a planet-devouring cosmic being known as Galactus. After studying numerous anomalies involving the disappearance of planets, the team decides to try and negotiate Earth's fate with Galactus.

Tracking the Silver Surfer's energy signature to a distant star system, the planet they encounter is immediately destroyed by Galactus' ship, and the team is captured. Galactus offers to spare Earth in exchange for Reed and Sue's unborn son, as he senses an immense power within him, inducing Sue to go into labor. The team refuses and escapes from Galactus and the Silver Surfer using gravity from a black hole. On the flight back to Earth, Sue gives birth to her son, Franklin Richards. Following a disastrous press conference to explain their failure to defeat Galactus, the world turns against the team, fearing Galactus' imminent arrival. With Franklin in her arms, Sue declares to the public that they will do whatever is necessary to defeat Galactus, regaining public trust.

Reed devises a network of standing teleportation bridges that will transport Earth away from Galactus's reach, by hiding it in a distant galaxy many light-years away. Just as they begin activating the bridges, they are destroyed by the Silver Surfer. Johnny stops her from reaching the last bridge in Times Square and, having learned her language from their first encounter, identifies her as Shalla-Bal, who willingly became Galactus's herald to spare her own world, Zenn-La, from the same fate. Forced to hear the dying words of the planets she had led Galactus to, Shalla-Bal flees in anguish.

Using Franklin as bait, the team plans to lure Galactus to the Times Square bridge and teleport him away from Earth, negotiating with Mole Man to evacuate the citizens of New York to his underground city of Subterranea. The plan fails, and Galactus takes the baby from the team's headquarters, the Baxter Building. Sue forces Galactus into the portal using her shield-generating powers while Reed rescues Franklin. When Sue begins to falter from overexertion, Johnny prepares to sacrifice himself to give Galactus a final push into the portal. Having a change of heart, Shalla-Bal stops him and sacrifices herself instead, as Galactus gets consumed by the portal and thrown into the void. Reed, Ben, and Johnny recover Sue, who has seemingly died after exhausting her powers. However, when Reed places Franklin on her chest, his newly awakened powers resuscitate her. In the aftermath, the team is celebrated for their victory.

After Clark Kent / Superman stops the nation of Boravia, an ally of the United States, from invading the neighboring country of Jarhanpur, a metahuman named the "Hammer of Boravia" attacked Superman in Metropolis. Superman is defeated for the first time, and flees to his Fortress of Solitude in Antarctica with the help of the superpowered dog Krypto. They are followed by Angela Spica / The Engineer, an ally of billionaire Lex Luthor. Superman's robots use concentrated solar radiation to heal him and comfort Superman with a message from his alien parents, Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van, who sent him to Earth to save him from the destruction of their planet Krypton. The message was damaged during the journey, so only the first half can be played. Superman returns to Metropolis and is again beaten by the Hammer, who is secretly Luthor's metahuman Ultraman.

Superman agrees to be interviewed by Lois Lane, his girlfriend and reporter colleague at the Daily Planet, leading to an argument when Lois presses him on the legal and ethical implications of his actions in Boravia. Weeks later, Luthor unleashes a kaiju on Metropolis as a distraction while he infiltrates the Fortress with Ultraman and the Engineer. They overpower the robots, capture Krypto, and discover the Kryptonian message; the Engineer restores the damaged portion. As Superman fights the kaiju, the "Justice Gang", a team composed of heroes Green Lantern, Mister Terrific, and Hawkgirl arrives and kills the kaiju, much to Superman's disappointment. In that moment, Luthor broadcasts the entire Kryptonian message to the world, and Superman is shocked to hear the second half in which his parents urge him to conquer Earth and take as many wives as needed to restore the Kryptonian race. Public opinion quickly turns against Superman, and the U.S. government allows Luthor to detain him. Lois reassures Superman that she believes he is good. He confesses his love for her before surrendering himself to the U.S. government, who in turn hand him over to Luthor.

Luthor imprisons Superman in an artificial pocket universe where he holds his enemies, including Krypto and the metahuman Metamorpho. Using Metamorpho's infant son Joey as leverage, Luthor forces Metamorpho to transmute his body into Kryptonite which renders Superman powerless. While questioning Superman, Luthor murders Superman supporter Malik Ali, which horrifies Metamorpho. He helps Superman escape and together they free Joey and Krypto. Lois convinces Mister Terrific to help find Superman and they enter the pocket universe, rescuing the others. Lois takes Superman to recuperate with his adopted human parents, Jonathan and Martha Kent. Jonathan tells the demoralized Superman that his actions determine who he is, not the message from his birth parents. Luthor lures Superman back to Metropolis by opening an unstable portal to the pocket universe which creates a dimensional rift. Luthor's girlfriend Eve Teschmacher, who is infatuated with Daily Planet photographer Jimmy Olsen, provides evidence to the Daily Planet that Luthor is aiding Boravia in return for half of Jarhanpur's territory before being imprisoned herself.

Stranger Things is set in the fictional rural town of Hawkins, Indiana, in the 1980s. The nearby Hawkins National Laboratory ostensibly performs scientific research for the United States Department of Energy but also secretly experiments with the paranormal and supernatural, sometimes with human test subjects. They have inadvertently created a portal to an alternate dimension they refer to as the Upside Down, whose presence begins to affect the residents of Hawkins in unusual ways.[11][12]

The first season begins in November 1983 when Will Byers is abducted by a creature from the Upside Down. His mother Joyce, Police Chief Jim Hopper, and a group of volunteers search for him. A young psychokinetic girl named Eleven escapes from the laboratory and is found by friends of Will. Eleven befriends and assists them in their efforts to find Will.[13]

The second season is set eleven months later, in October 1984. Will has been rescued, but he begins having premonitions of the fall of Hawkins caused by a creature in the Upside Down. When it is discovered that Will is still being possessed by an entity from the Upside Down, his friends and family learn that there is a larger threat to their world.[14]

The third season is set nine months later, in the days leading up to the Fourth of July celebration in 1985. The new Starcourt Mall has become the center of attention for Hawkins residents, putting the majority of other local stores out of business due to the mall's popularity. Hopper becomes increasingly concerned about Eleven and Mike Wheeler's relationship and becomes very protective of his daughter. Unbeknownst to the town, a secret Soviet laboratory underneath Starcourt seeks to open the gateway to the Upside Down. Meanwhile, the Mind Flayer uses mind control to make Billy do his bidding.[15][16]

The fourth season is set eight months later, in March 1986. Joyce, Will, Eleven, and Jonathan have moved to Lenora, California for a fresh start. In California, Eleven struggles with the loss of her powers and being bullied in school. Meanwhile, in Hawkins, a being from the Upside Down—an entity later dubbed Vecna—begins killing the residents of Hawkins, opening new gates between the two worlds in the process. Planning to stop Vecna, Dr. Sam Owens takes Eleven to a facility to help her regain her powers. Simultaneously, Joyce and Murray Bauman fly to Russia to rescue Hopper from the Gulag in Kamchatka.

The fifth and final season is set in the fall of 1987. The group seeks to find and kill Vecna after the Rifts opened in Hawkins. The mission becomes complicated when the military sets up shop in Hawkins and begins hunting Eleven. Near the anniversary of Will's disappearance, the group must stay together one last time for the final battle and face something more powerful and deadly than ever before.

In 1985, drug smuggler Andrew C. Thornton II drops a shipment of cocaine from his plane. He attempts to parachute out with a drug-filled duffel bag, but knocks himself unconscious on the doorframe and falls to his death. His body lands in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he is identified by Bob, a local detective. He concludes that the cocaine is likely from St. Louis drug kingpin Syd White, and the remainder is missing.

Meanwhile, in the Chattahoochee–Oconee National Forest, an American black bear eats some of the cocaine. Becoming highly aggressive, it attacks hikers Elsa and Olaf, killing the former.

In northeast Georgia, middle schooler Dee Dee lives with her mother, nurse Sari. Dee Dee skips school with her best friend Henry in order to paint a picture of the falls in the forest. On the trail to the falls, they find a lost brick of cocaine and ingest some before being attacked by the bear.

Sari searches for the children with Liz, a park ranger, and Peter, a wildlife activist. In the forest, they find Henry clinging to a tree. The bear attacks, sending Peter stumbling through a pile of cocaine and slashing Liz in the process. The bear gets attracted to a cocaine-coated Peter and kills him. Sari and Henry flee deeper into the forest, and Liz calls for help.

In St. Louis, Syd, his widowed son Eddie and fixer Daveed arrive in Georgia to recover the cocaine, as does Bob. At the forest station, Daveed gets into a fight with local delinquents Ponytail, Vest and Stache. After the three are beaten up, Stache takes Daveed and Eddie to recover some of the cocaine he stashed in a gazebo.

Liz arrives back at the station, pursued by the bear. She accidentally kills Ponytail, and the bear slaughters Vest. Paramedics Beth and Tom arrive and collect Liz after a brief skirmish with the bear. They leave with Liz in an ambulance, but the bear pursues and jumps into the vehicle. In the ensuing chaos, Tom is killed by the bear, while Liz falls out of the ambulance and is dragged to death on the road. Beth crashes the vehicle into a tree and flies through the windshield to her death.

Sari and Henry discover that Dee Dee left a trail of paint and follow it. Daveed and Eddie are taken to the gazebo, but when they encounter Bob there with the stashed duffel of cocaine, Bob wounds Daveed. The bear appears, but Bob distracts it with the bag of coke. Bob is suddenly shot fatally by Syd, who is under pressure from his superiors to retrieve the cocaine.

Sari and Henry find Olaf, who is mourning Elsa. He leads them to Dee Dee's hiding place in the bear's cave, which contains two cubs, revealing that the bear is a mother. Olaf leaves and is killed by the bear. Syd, Eddie, and Daveed find the cave, which leads out to a ledge behind the falls. When the bear returns to the cave, Sari, Henry, and Dee Dee jump into the water below, followed by Eddie and Daveed, who have chosen to quit the drug business, and they all survive. However, Syd refuses to leave the bag of cocaine found in the cave. He wounds the bear, but fails to kill it and is disemboweled by the bear and her cubs.

Later, Stache hitchhikes to New York with a duffel bag of cocaine, while Eddie, accompanied by Daveed and Bob's dog, reunites with his son.

The aging American racing driver, and former Formula One (F1) prodigy, Sonny Hayes refuses to retire, living nomadically as a racer-for-hire. Although he raced for Lotus in the 1990s, severe injuries from a crash at the Spanish Grand Prix in 1993 ended his F1 career.[c] He subsequently became a gambling addict and lost three marriages. After winning the 24 Hours of Daytona,[d] his former Lotus teammate Ruben Cervantes, who owns the APXGP F1 Team, offers him a test drive to fill their spare seat. Cervantes discloses that his investors will sell the team unless APXGP—last in the World Constructors' Championship—wins one of the nine remaining Grands Prix that year. Hayes reluctantly agrees after Cervantes tells him victory will make him "the best in the world".

At the Silverstone test, Hayes meets team principal Kaspar Smolinski, technical director Kate McKenna, and ambitious British rookie Joshua Pearce, who reveal that seven drivers had turned down the opportunity. Pearce maintains an arrogant demeanor, yet worries that the potential sale will result in his replacement, believing he must trounce his teammates to impress the paddock. During his test, Hayes struggles adjusting to modern F1 machinery but, contrary to Pearce, immediately identifies APXGP's problem areas. He pushes too hard and crashes, but Smolinski recognizes his skill and signs him.

Hayes returns at the British Grand Prix, where slow pit stops demote the APXGP drivers to last-place after a promising start. Hayes ignores team orders to let Pearce by and they collide. In Hungary, Hayes mends his relationship with Pearce by exploiting the rules of F1: by intentionally crashing into other drivers to force safety cars, he helps Pearce catch the midfield and score APXGP's maiden points finish.[e] Pearce adopts Hayes's old-school training methods and Hayes emulates his simulator work. APXGP becomes a midfield team after Hayes persuades McKenna to re-design the car for "combat".[f] During the rain-affected Italian Grand Prix, Hayes encourages Pearce to stay out on slick tires, which risks aquaplaning but vaults Pearce to second-place. However, Pearce ignores Hayes's advice to wait for a straight before attempting to overtake Max Verstappen. Pearce hits a curb at Curva Parabolica and his car is engulfed in flames after flying over the crash barrier.[g] Hayes rescues him from the fire and Pearce misses the next three races due his injuries,[h] while Hayes claims consistent points. Pearce resolves to defeat Hayes when he returns.

In his comeback race—the Belgian Grand Prix—Pearce's aggressive driving causes a collision with Hayes at Les Combes, forcing him out of the race and infuriating him. With two races left, McKenna arranges a poker game where the winner gets favorable treatment at the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Pearce wins but, after he leaves, Hayes reveals that he intentionally folded with a winning hand. Impressed, McKenna takes Hayes to her room, and they spend the night together. Cervantes interrupts them to announce that an anonymous tip claimed McKenna manufactured upgrades illegally.[i] McKenna denies wrongdoing, but the FIA demand the upgrades' removal.

Panchayat is an Indian Hindi-language comedy drama web series created by The Viral Fever for Amazon Prime Video. Written by Chandan Kumar and directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, the series stars Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Sanvikaa Pooja Singh, Chandan Roy, Durgesh Kumar, Ashok Pathak, Faisal Malik, Sunita Rajwar and Pankaj Jha. It follows the story of an engineering graduate who becomes a panchayat secretary in the fictional village of Phulera in Uttar Pradesh due to limited job opportunities.

The series was filmed at a real panchayat office in Mahodiya, Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh, located around 40 km from Bhopal, the state capital. The soundtrack and background score were composed by Anurag Saikia, while cinematography and editing were handled by Amitabha Singh and Amit Kulkarni, respectively. It marked Mishra’s first full-length directorial project following his work on the second seasons of Permanent Roommates and Humorously Yours!.[1]

Panchayat premiered on Amazon Prime Video on 3 April 2020.[2] The series received mostly positive reviews from critics, who praised the performances, writing, direction, and technical aspects. The show's rural backdrop was noted as a departure from the urban settings featured in many of TVF’s earlier productions.[3] At the inaugural Filmfare OTT Awards, the series won multiple awards in the Comedy Series category, except for Best Actress. It was also nominated for Best Original Story, Screenplay, and Dialogues for Chandan Kumar, though it did not win in these categories.[4]

The second season of the series was scheduled to release on 20 May 2022 but premiered two days earlier.[5] In this season, Abhishek is shown becoming more involved in village politics and development while preparing for the CAT exam.

The series was renewed for a third season, originally planned to premiere on 15 January 2024 but delayed multiple times. It was eventually released on 28 May 2024. The season focuses on the panchayat elections and the political landscape surrounding them.[6][7][8]

The series was renewed for a fourth season,[9] which was released on 24 June 2025.

Returning home from Germany, Sean Floyd plans to go to the woods for spring break with his friends Jeremy Abelar and Donnie. Unbeknownst to Sean or Donnie, Jeremy has invited his twin sister, Becky, who recently broke up with her boyfriend Chad, and her friend Sarah, who Donnie used to date.

Donnie and Jeremy encourage Sean to make a move on Becky, whom he has a crush on. Jeremy assures the group that the trip is safe, while the rest worry as it took them 6 hours to reach their destination.

Arriving at the campsite, Sean attempts to make a move on Becky but is interrupted by Donnie, who takes him along to pester a peeing Jeremy. Because of them startling him while he's playing with a knife, Jeremy accidentally cuts off his own penis.

Sean takes everyone's phones to find an area with service and calls 9-1-1. He also angrily texts Chad from Becky's phone, before accidentally losing all the phones. Paramedics arrive in a helicopter, and Sean gives them a cooler containing Jeremy's penis.

After the paramedics leave, the group finds the penis in another cooler and realize that Sean gave the paramedics the wrong one. At the hospital, the nurse reveals the dilemma to Jeremy, who is distraught due to the fact that he does not have any faith in the group.

Finding a ranger station, the group goes inside. A startled Becky throws the cooler at a rattlesnake. The penis flies out of it and is bitten by the rattlesnake. After Sean has sucked out the venom, Sarah spots a drone and chases it, but falls into the water at the bottom of a ravine.

Everyone follows, they swim across the ravine and find the drone's owner, a foul-mouthed 11-year-old boy camping with his dad. He tries to coerce Sarah and Becky in exchange for the keys to his dad's boat. Becky and Sean scare him by talking about penises being cut off, allowing the group to steal the boat, although they are attacked by his dad, who thinks they molested his son.

Finding their car, they stop at the gas station where Jeremy had bought booze using his fake soldier ID. The clerk cleans the penis as an act of patriotism. Afterwards, seeing Donnie's high school ID he realizes they lied about being soldiers – he chases their car as they escape and hits Donnie in the shoulder with an arrow through his headboard.

Reaching the hospital, they give the penis to the doctors. After the surgery, they go inside the recovery room to find a different man named Redneck Reginald, and realize Jeremy's penis was put on Reginald instead.

In a heated argument, Donnie tells Becky about Sean texting Chad from her phone. She calls Chad to pick her up, and Sean and Donnie visit Reginald, who is now awake. They explain the situation and Reginald tells them how his girlfriend, Sheryl cut off his penis as revenge for him cheating with her sister.

Sean and Donnie go get Reginald's penis, which just arrived, with the hopes of attaching it to Jeremy. However, Sheryl suddenly comes to visit and ends up cutting it off again. Sean and Donnie fight her and retrieve Jeremy's penis. Meeting up with Becky and Sarah, Sean apologizes to Becky, telling her she shouldn't be with someone who cheated on her. She accepts the apology and the four of them leave together.
