Music superstar Abel Tesfaye warms up and performs at a headlining concert. Afterwards, he parties and does drugs with his manager, Lee. Despite encouragement from Lee, Abel suffers from a lack of desire to perform due to growing depression following a recent break-up. Meanwhile, Anima, a fan of Tesfaye's music, sets a house on fire before driving to Los Angeles to Abel's next concert, avoiding messages from her mother.

Before the concert, Abel is diagnosed with muscle tension dysphonia and considers cancelling, but is convinced to perform by Lee. Before embarking onstage, Abel leaves a foul-mouthed voicemail to his ex-girlfriend, blaming her for his depression. Anima sneaks into the concert, where Abel loses his voice and abruptly walks offstage. Anima then sneaks backstage and meets Abel. Intrigued, Abel waves away security and spends the night with Anima in Pacific Park and later, at a hotel. Anima breaks down after Abel plays a portion of the song, "Hurry Up Tomorrow", relating to its themes of loneliness and abandonment.

The following day, as Abel readies to return to his tour, he overhears Anima and her mother arguing on the phone about the arson. Anima aggressively prevents Abel from leaving, asking him to emotionally open up to her, but he dismisses her. Angered, Anima knocks him unconscious by hitting him with a champagne bottle. Abel then has a vivid nightmare of walking alone from the hotel room onto the streets, with his childhood self staring back at him.

Abel wakes up tied to the hotel bed. Anima dances to his songs "Blinding Lights" and "Gasoline" while analyzing their recurring themes of toxic relationships with women. Abel refuses to discuss the songs with her. Lee arrives to find Abel, having tracked his phone to the hotel. Anima opens the door and tries to get him to leave, pulling out a knife when he refuses. After a violent struggle, Anima fatally stabs Lee in the neck. Anima then douses Abel with gasoline, threatening to burn him if he doesn't emotionally open up to her. Abel finally speaks to Anima, pacifying her by singing “Hurry Up Tomorrow". She then releases him from the bed and sets the room on fire as she leaves.

Abel exits the hotel room, which leads him directly backstage before a concert. He stares at himself in front of a mirror, visibly shaken by the events.

Krishna's first shot of success came with the release of the music video for "Kaisa Mera Desh" in 2010,[8][9] becoming the first Indian hip hop song on YouTube and earning a number 2 ranking as one of the most watched music videos in India overnight following its release.[10] He also released a song titled "Vijay" in collaboration with international NGO Save The Children in 2013.

After sporadic underground releases, Kaul switched from Prozpekt to the stage name KRSNA after signing with Contrabands, a joint venture company between Universal Music India, VH1 and Hard Rock Cafe, in 2013.[12][13] In May 2014, he released his debut album Sellout, an all-English effort on Universal Music with its lead single "Last Night" peaking at number 5 on the VH1 Music Charts in India.[14] Kaul became the first hip-hop artist in India to do a five-city album tour with a band.[3][2] Following this, the music video for the title song "Sellout" was released but failed to make a large impact due to lacklustre marketing and shrinking label budgets.

    KR$NA in a live performance, 2016

After a two-year hiatus, Kaul made his return in 2016 with his Hindi release "Vyanjan".[17][18] Following the success of the song, he signed to the artist management agency DNH Artists (now Kalamkaar) in 2017 and became a partner in 2018, with the likes of Ankit Khanna and Raftaar.

In 2020, Kaul accused the IPL and Disney+ Hotstar of permitting the plagiarism of his 2017 song "Dekh Kaun Aaya Wapas" when creating the 2020 IPL anthem "Ayenge Hum Wapas", an allegation which was dismissed by composer Pranav Ajayrao Malpe. Kaul responded by stating that "his team[...], will take the legal route and approach Disney+Hotstar, which commissioned the song".

In the month of January 2021, Kaul was featured on American rapper Hi-Rez's song "Crossroads" along with Royce da 5'9".[21] Later in July, another collaboration with Hi-Rez was released, titled "Playground" which also featured former Slaughterhouse member, KXNG Crooked. His collaboration in Hi-Rez's song "Overdrive", was released in November 2021, featuring A-F-R-O, Joell Ortiz, Bizzy Bone, Tech N9ne and Twista. The music videos were released on Hi-Rez's YouTube channel.[22] In the same year, Kaul also released his sophomore studio album Still Here, which was his first album released through Kalamkaar Records, the artist agency he had joined 3 years back.

In 2025, Kaul, along with 3 other rappers– Jay Park, MaSiWei, and Vannda, featured on Japanese hip-hop artist Awich's track "Asian State of Mind", which was released on 28 February, accompanied by a music video, which was shot in each of the featured rappers' home countries.[28] In the same year, Kaul announced his first mixtape, Yours Truly, which was also his first project to be distributed via Mass Appeal India. The announcement coincided with American rapper Nas making his India debut on 19 April 2025 at Mass Appeal Presents: The World Reunion—A Charity Concert in Mumbai.[29] Yours Truly eventually released on 22 May 2025, with a title announcement, made 4 days prior to its release.

Pulp Fiction is a 1994 American independent crime film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino from a story he conceived with Roger Avary.[3] It tells four intertwining tales of crime and violence in Los Angeles. The film stars John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Willis, Tim Roth, Ving Rhames, and Uma Thurman. The title refers to the pulp magazines and hardboiled crime novels popular during the mid-20th century, known for their graphic violence and punchy dialogue.

Tarantino wrote Pulp Fiction in 1992 and 1993, incorporating scenes that Avary originally wrote for True Romance (1993). Its plot occurs out of chronological order. The film is also self-referential from its opening moments, beginning with a title card that gives two dictionary definitions of "pulp". Considerable screen time is devoted to monologues and casual conversations with eclectic dialogue revealing each character's perspectives on several subjects, and the film features an ironic combination of humor and strong violence. TriStar Pictures reportedly turned down the script as "too demented". Miramax Films co-chairman Harvey Weinstein was enthralled, however, and the film became the first that Miramax Films fully financed.

Pulp Fiction won the Palme d'Or at the 1994 Cannes Film Festival and was a major critical and commercial success. It was nominated for seven awards at the 67th Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and won Best Original Screenplay; Travolta, Jackson, and Thurman were nominated for Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress respectively. As a result of the film's success, Travolta's career was reinvigorated. The film's development, marketing, distribution, and profitability had a sweeping effect on independent cinema.

Pulp Fiction is widely regarded as Tarantino's magnum opus, with particular praise for its screenwriting.[4] The self-reflexivity, unconventional structure, and extensive homage and pastiche have led critics to describe it as a touchstone of postmodern film. It is often considered a cultural watershed, influencing films and other media that adopted elements of its style. The cast was also widely praised, with Travolta, Thurman, and Jackson earning high acclaim. In 2008, Entertainment Weekly named it the best film since 1983[5] and it has appeared on many critics' lists of the greatest films ever made. In 2013, Pulp Fiction was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant"

In German-occupied Kraków during World War II, the Nazis force local Polish Jews into the overcrowded Kraków Ghetto. Oskar Schindler, a German Nazi Party member from Czechoslovakia, arrives in the city, hoping to make his fortune. He bribes Wehrmacht (German armed forces) and SS officials, acquiring a factory to produce enamelware. Schindler hires Itzhak Stern, a Jewish official with contacts among black marketeers and the Jewish business community; he handles administration and helps Schindler arrange financing. Stern ensures that as many Jewish workers as possible were deemed essential to the German war effort to prevent them from being taken by the SS to concentration camps or killed. Meanwhile, Schindler maintains friendly relations with the Nazis and enjoys his new wealth and status as an industrialist.

SS-Untersturmführer (second lieutenant) Amon Göth arrives in Kraków to oversee construction of the Płaszów concentration camp. When the camp is ready, he orders the ghetto liquidated: two thousand Jews are transported to Płaszów, and two thousand others are killed in the streets by the SS. Schindler witnesses the massacre and is profoundly affected. He particularly notices a young girl in a red coat who hides from the Nazis and later sees her body on a wagonload of corpses. Schindler is careful to maintain his friendship with Göth and continues to enjoy SS support, mostly through bribery. Göth brutalizes his Jewish maid, Helen Hirsch, and randomly shoots people from the balcony of his villa; the prisoners are in constant fear for their lives. As time passes, Schindler's focus shifts from making money to trying to save as many lives as possible. To better protect his workers, Schindler bribes Göth into allowing him to build a sub-camp at his factory.

As the Germans begin losing the war, Göth is ordered to ship the remaining Jews at Płaszów to Auschwitz concentration camp. Schindler asks Göth for permission to move his workers to a munitions factory he plans to build in Brünnlitz near his hometown of Zwittau. Göth reluctantly agrees but charges a huge bribe. Schindler and Stern prepare a list of people to be transferred to Brünnlitz instead of Auschwitz. The list eventually includes 1,100 names.

As the Jewish workers are transported by train to Brünnlitz, the women and girls are mistakenly redirected to Auschwitz-Birkenau; Schindler bribes Rudolf Höss, the commandant of Auschwitz, for their release. At the new factory, Schindler forbids the SS guards from entering the production area without permission and encourages the Jews to observe the Sabbath. Over the next seven months, he spends his fortune bribing Nazi officials and buying shell casings from other companies. Due to Schindler's machinations, the factory produces no usable armaments. He runs out of money in 1945, just as Germany surrenders.

As a Nazi Party member and war profiteer, Schindler must flee the advancing Red Army to avoid capture. The SS guards at the factory have been ordered to kill the Jewish workforce, but Schindler persuades them not to do so. Bidding farewell to his workers, he prepares to head west, hoping to surrender to the Americans.

A gang of masked criminals rob a mafia-owned bank in Gotham City, betraying and killing each other until the sole survivor, the Joker, reveals himself as the mastermind and escapes with the money. The vigilante Batman, district attorney Harvey Dent, and police lieutenant Jim Gordon ally to eliminate Gotham's organized crime. Batman's true identity, the billionaire Bruce Wayne, publicly supports Dent as Gotham's legitimate protector, believing Dent's success will allow him to retire as Batman and romantically pursue his childhood friend Rachel Dawes—despite her being with Dent.

Gotham's mafia bosses gather to discuss protecting their organizations from the Joker, the police, and Batman. The Joker interrupts the meeting and offers to kill Batman for half of the fortune their accountant, Lau, concealed before fleeing to Hong Kong to avoid extradition. With the help of Wayne Enterprises CEO Lucius Fox, Batman finds Lau in Hong Kong and returns him to the custody of Gotham police. His testimony enables Dent to apprehend the crime families. The bosses accept the Joker's offer, and he kills high-profile targets involved in the trial, including the judge and police commissioner. Although Gordon saves the mayor, the Joker threatens that his attacks will continue until Batman reveals his identity. He targets Dent at a fundraising dinner and throws Rachel out of a window, but Batman rescues her.

Wayne struggles to understand the Joker's motives, to which his butler Alfred Pennyworth says "some men just want to watch the world burn." Dent claims he is Batman to lure out the Joker, who attacks the police convoy transporting him. Batman and Gordon apprehend the Joker, and Gordon is promoted to commissioner. At the police station, Batman interrogates the Joker, who says he finds Batman entertaining and has no intention of killing him. Having deduced Batman's feelings for Rachel, the Joker reveals she and Dent are being held separately in buildings rigged to explode. Batman races to rescue Rachel while Gordon and the other officers go after Dent, but they discover the Joker gave their positions in reverse. The explosives detonate, killing Rachel and severely burning Dent's face on one side. The Joker escapes custody, extracts the fortune's location from Lau, and burns it, killing Lau in the process.

Coleman Reese, a consultant for Wayne Enterprises, deduces and tries to expose Batman's identity, but the Joker threatens to blow up a hospital unless Reese is killed. While the police evacuate hospitals and Gordon struggles to keep Reese alive, the Joker meets with a disillusioned Dent, persuading him to take the law into his own hands and avenge Rachel. Dent defers his decision-making to his now half-scarred, two-headed coin, killing the corrupt officers and the mafia involved in Rachel's death. As panic grips the city, the Joker reveals two evacuation ferries, one carrying civilians and the other prisoners, are rigged to explode at midnight unless one group sacrifices the other. To the Joker's disbelief, the passengers refuse to kill one another. Batman subdues the Joker but refuses to kill him. Before the police arrest the Joker, he says although Batman proved incorruptible, his plan to corrupt Dent has succeeded.

The 2025 India–Pakistan conflict was a brief armed conflict between India and Pakistan that began on 7 May 2025, after India launched missile strikes on Pakistan, codenamed Operation Sindoor.[b] India stated that the operation was a response to the Pahalgam attack on 22 April by militants in the Indian-administered part of Kashmir killing 26 civilians, mostly Hindu tourists. The attack intensified tensions between India and Pakistan as India accused Pakistan of supporting cross-border terrorism, which Pakistan denied.

According to India, the missile strikes of Operation Sindoor targeted the camps and infrastructure of militant groups Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, and no Pakistani military facilities were targeted. According to Pakistan, the Indian strikes targeted civilian areas, including mosques. Following these strikes, there were border skirmishes and drone strikes between the two countries. On 10 May, Pakistan launched a retaliatory operation codenamed Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos,[c] that they stated targeted several Indian military bases.[58] India's military said that Pakistan's retaliatory strikes targeted civilian areas, including Hindu and Sikh religious sites[59]. In retaliation, India also continued Operation Sindoor, expanding its scope to attack Pakistani military installations.[60] This conflict marked the first drone battle between the two nuclear-armed nations.[29]

After three days of the conflict, both India and Pakistan announced that a ceasefire had been agreed after a hotline communication between both their DGMOs, effective from 5:00 pm IST/04:30 pm PKT (11:30 UTC) on 10 May, with talks set for 12 May.[61][15] Following the deadline, both countries accused each other of violating the ceasefire agreement

In Malaysia, Yelena Belova destroys a laboratory on behalf of CIA director Valentina Allegra de Fontaine to conceal her involvement with the O.X.E. Group's "Sentry" superhuman project. As de Fontaine faces imminent impeachment for her work with O.X.E. Group, she dispatches Yelena, John Walker, Ava Starr, and Taskmaster to a covert O.X.E. facility under the pretense of a mission. Once there, the operatives are pitted against one another in a deadly confrontation where Ava kills Taskmaster before they unexpectedly release a mysterious man named Bob from a suspended animation pod in the room. Upon learning that they were sent by de Fontaine to be incinerated along with any evidence of her misconduct, they manage to escape from the trap.

De Fontaine learns that the group has survived, including Bob, who was presumed dead during the Sentry trials. When she arrives at the site, Bob creates a diversion by drawing enemy fire, allowing Yelena, Walker, and Ava to escape, only to sustain no injuries despite being shot. Bob then uncontrollably ascends into the air before passing out and crash-landing back at the compound, where he is captured and transported to the former Avengers Tower in New York City, now renamed the "Watchtower". De Fontaine intends to introduce Bob to the press as a super-powered protector akin to the Avengers, hoping the PR stunt will avert her impeachment. Meanwhile, Alexei Shostakov, who had overheard details of de Fontaine's plot while working as a freelance chauffeur, rescues Yelena, Walker, and Ava. Inspired by Yelena's childhood soccer team, Shostakov refers to the group as the "Thunderbolts".

De Fontaine's agents pursue the Thunderbolts before they are ultimately apprehended by Bucky Barnes, who intends to have them testify in the impeachment proceedings. Upon learning that Bob was a subject of one of de Fontaine's top-secret experiments, Barnes joins the group to head to New York to infiltrate the Watchtower. The Thunderbolts discover that de Fontaine has convinced Bob to join her side as a new superhero she plans to market as a replacement for the Avengers called the Sentry. After easily overpowering the team and forcing them to retreat, Sentry develops a god-like delusion of superiority, turning on de Fontaine. However, her assistant, Mel, incapacitates him with a failsafe kill switch. This triggers the emergence of the Void, Bob's destructive alter ego and the embodiment of his depression and insecurities created as a result of the procedure and his fractured psyche, who begins engulfing New York City in supernatural darkness, trapping its citizens in pocket dimensions based on their worst memories.

Realizing the only way to stop the Void is from within, Yelena enters the darkness to reach Bob's consciousness. There, she faces her haunted past as a Black Widow and finds Bob hiding in a recreation of his childhood bedroom, where his father abused him. The other Thunderbolts soon join them, and together they travel back to the memory of Bob's initial experimentation in Malaysia, where he volunteered for the procedure, hoping to improve himself after becoming an aimless drug addict. The Thunderbolts confront the Void, but are swiftly overpowered.

Vijay Salgaonkar is an orphan who dropped out of school at the fourth grade. He then becomes a businessman in Goa. He is married to Nandini and has two daughters; Anju, his adopted elder daughter and Anu, his youngest daughter. His only interest, apart from his family, is watching films.

During camp, a nude video of Anju gets recorded. The culprit, Sameer ''Sam'' Deshmukh, is the son of the Inspector-general of police Meera Deshmukh. When Sam meets Anju, he tries to blackmail her for sexual favors. The same night, he turns up at her house and when Nandini arrives, she pleads with him to delete the video. Nandini pleads Sam to leave Anju alone; he agrees on the condition that Nandini have sex with him. Anju while trying to knock the phone with the video out of sam's hand, strikes his head accidently with a rod, which kills him. Anju and Nandini bury Sam's dead body in a compost pit, which is seen by Anu.

The next morning, when Vijay comes home, he is informed of the incident by Nandini and he devises a way to save his family from the police. He constructs an elaborate Drishyam (or visual) among all connected witnesses' minds by skillfully lying to them just the right amount. He re-constructs their alibis by taking a trip after the fact to Panaji for a religious sermon, which of course they miss because they go there the day after. However he returns for the same trip a week later and reinforces their earlier visit - with just the dates changed so the witnesses will corroborate their presence on the day of the murder. Then he removes Sam's broken phone and disposes of his car in a lake, which is seen by Sub-inspector Laxmikant Gaitonde, who has a grudge against Vijay.

Meera, realizing that her son has gone missing, starts an investigation. She begins to suspect Vijay and his family and they are called in for questioning. Having predicted that this would happen, Vijay coaches his family on how to change their alibis. When questioned individually, the family stick to their alibis. Meera questions the owners of the establishments that Vijay had met during his trip. Their statements prove Vijay's alibi. Meera deduces that Vijay had gotten acquainted with the owners, and manipulated them into lying.

Meera arrests the family and Gaitonde uses force to beat the truth out of them. Meera learns about the video that Sam made about Anju from Sam's friend Alex. After Gaitonde threatens to hit Anu, she discloses the truth. Anu reveals the place where Sam is buried. The police dig up the compost pit where Sam is buried, only to find the remains of a calf. Vijay protests to the crowd that Gaitonde had hit Anu. Gaitonde attempts to attack Vijay, but is stopped by an angry mob who thrash him.

Following the incident, Gaitonde is suspended and Meera resigns. Meera and her husband, Mahesh summon Vijay where they ask for his forgiveness over Sam's perverted behavior. They also reveal that they are going to live with Meera's brother in London. They ask Vijay to disclose the truth behind their Sam's disappearance, to which he reveals to indirectly killing him. He reveals that he would go to any lengths to protect his family and asks them for forgiveness.

On a hot summer day in the New York County Courthouse, the trial phase has just concluded for an impoverished 18-year-old boy accused of killing his abusive father. The judge instructs the jury that if there is reasonable doubt, the jurors must return a verdict of "not guilty". If the defendant is found guilty, he will receive a mandatory death sentence via the electric chair. The verdict must be unanimous.

At first, the case seems clear. A neighbor testified to witnessing the defendant stab his father, from her window, through the windows of a passing elevated train. Another neighbor testified that he heard the defendant threaten to kill his father, and the father's body hitting the floor; then, as he ran to his door, he saw the defendant running down the stairs. The boy had recently purchased a switchblade of the same type that was found, wiped of fingerprints, at the murder scene, but claimed he lost it.

In a preliminary vote, all jurors vote "guilty" except Juror 8, who believes there should be some discussion before the verdict. He says he cannot vote "guilty" because reasonable doubt exists. When his first few arguments (including producing a recently purchased knife nearly identical to the murder weapon that was thought to be unique) seemingly fail to convince any of the other jurors, Juror 8 suggests a secret ballot, from which he will abstain; if all the other jurors still vote guilty, he will acquiesce. The ballot reveals one "not guilty" vote. Juror 9 reveals that he changed his vote; he respects Juror 8's motives, and agrees there should be more discussion.

Juror 8 argues that the train noise would have obscured everything the second witness claimed to have overheard. Jurors 5 and 11 change their votes. Jurors 5, 6 and 8 further question the second witness's story, and question whether the death threat was figurative speech. After looking at a diagram of the witness's apartment and conducting an experiment, the jurors determine that it is impossible for the disabled witness to have made it to the door in time. Juror 3, infuriated, argues with and tries to attack Juror 8, yelling a death threat; jurors 5, 6 and 7 physically restrain Juror 3. Jurors 2 and 6 change their votes; the jury is now evenly split.

Juror 4 doubts the defendant's alibi, as the boy did not recall specific details. Juror 8 tests Juror 4's own memory to make a point. Jurors 2 and 5 point out the father's stab wound was angled downwards, although the boy was shorter than his father. Juror 7 changes his vote out of impatience rather than conviction, angering Juror 11. After another vote, jurors 1 and 12 also change sides, leaving only three "guilty" votes.

After failing to convince the others of his argument, Juror 3 finally reveals that his strained relationship with his own son is the reason why he voted guilty. He breaks down in tears and changes his vote to "not guilty". As the others leave, Juror 8 graciously helps Juror 3 put on his coat. The defendant is acquitted off-screen. As the jurors leave the courthouse, Jurors 8 and 9 reveal their surnames to each other before parting ways.

In 1932, identical twins and World War I veterans Smoke and Stack return to the Mississippi Delta after years spent working for the Chicago Outfit. Using money stolen from gangsters, they purchase a sawmill from racist landowner Hogwood to start a juke joint for the local Black community. Their cousin Sammie, an aspiring guitarist, joins them despite opposition from his pastor father Jedediah, who warns that blues music is devilishly supernatural. The twins recruit other staff: pianist Delta Slim and singer Pearline (who becomes mutually enamored with Sammie) as performers, Smoke's estranged wife Annie as cook, local Chinese shopkeepers Grace and Bo as suppliers, and field-worker Cornbread as bouncer. Meanwhile, Stack reconnects with his ex-girlfriend Mary, who passes for white; Mary resents Stack for abandoning her when he left for Chicago. Smoke and Annie argue over her belief in the occult, as Annie insists her practices kept the twins safe, but Smoke bitterly reminds her that their infant daughter still died. Elsewhere, Irish-immigrant vampire Remmick flees from Choctaw vampire hunters and violently turns a married pair of local Klansmen into vampires. At the joint's opening night, Sammie's music is transcendent, unknowingly summoning spirits of both past and future to join the entranced crowd. The performance draws Remmick's attention, and he arrives with his minions, offering money and music for entry. The suspicious twins hesitate and the vampires retreat. Reminding Stack that the bar needs the income, Mary meets Remmick outside but is turned. She returns inside, where she seduces Stack and bites him. Smoke shoots her, but she is unharmed by regular bullets and escapes. Cornbread is attacked by Remmick and turned as well.As the joint empties, the vampires attack and turn the departing patrons, including Bo. Stack revives as a vampire, but Annie repels him with pickled garlic juice. She educates the survivors: only sunlight, silver, or wooden stakes can kill vampires, and they cannot enter a building unless invited. Now leading a horde of vampires but still unable to enter the bar, Remmick negotiates. He praises Sammie's supernatural talent and says vampirism offers immortality, freedom, and escape from racism; he wants to use Sammie's skills to summon the spirits of his lost community. He also warns that Hogwood, who secretly heads the local Klan, plans to attack the bar at dawn. When the survivors refuse his offer, Remmick and Bo confront Grace, threatening to attack her daughter. A desperate Grace dares the horde to attack the joint, inviting them in. In the ensuing battle, Grace, Annie, and Delta Slim are killed. Mary is devastated by Annie's death and flees the bar.Smoke, Sammie, and Pearline attempt to escape, but Remmick and Stack ambush them. Smoke and Stack clash in a brutal fight, while Sammie and Pearline fight Remmick. Pearline is bitten and begs Sammie to flee. Eventually, Sammie shatters his guitar over Remmick's head, causing the vampires to feel the same pain he inflicts, which gives Smoke enough time to kill Remmick. As the sun rises, the vampire horde is incinerated, but Hogwood and the Klan arrive. Urging Sammie to flee, Smoke ambushes and kills Hogwood and the Klan, but is himself mortally wounded.
