In today's episode, I interview one of the Turkish salesmen (starting at 10:40) I mentioned in our recent Whiskey Wednesday episode! Huseyin Baral is an entrepreneur who, along with his brother and nephew, owns four different shops inside of Istanbul's Grand Bazaar.
The Grand Bazaar is one of the world's oldest marketplaces (built in 1411). With over 4,000 vendors and more than 250,000 visitors per day, it's safe to say that the bazaar is one of the busiest markets on planet earth! To stand out and succeed in a place like this requires immense creativity, relentless stamina, and above all else, confidence.
Today's conversation is packed full of insightful tips on maintaining a positive mindset, building trust with potential stakeholders, and negotiation. Enjoy!
