Nicole is dedicated wife to an active duty Airman, mother to a very active 2 year old boy, business owner over at Canolie Creations, Fort Sam Houston's Military Spouse of the Year, and overall wearer of many hats.

    We talk about the following:

The challenges of being an entrepreneur and a Military Spouse.

The challenges of moving as a member of the U.S. Military.

The process of building her company.

    Nicole's Advice

As you are listening to this and you're a small business owner and entrepreneur. I really urge you to specifically write down what your priorities are and that's not just for your business. I want you to prioritize every single aspect of your life, because I struggled a lot with priority management. When I started listing out my priorities, I realized what came first to me. Like I mentioned before my family is what comes first. So when you list out your priorities, you'll see very clearly where you need to put most of your focus. So that's my biggest piece of advice for fellow entrepreneurs.

    Chuck's Advice

I'm kind of manic about this. What do you, what are you alive for? Mark Twain didn't actually say this. But I love this statement that he gets attributed. The two most important days of your life are the day you're born and the day of figure out why. If you haven't figured out the second day, go take a long walk and figure out why.

    Ellia's Advice

We've been talking about fun and creativity. So, my last piece of advice is to bring fun into the workplace. Nothing opens up the brain like play. And unfortunately, as we've got older, learning by playing decreases, and this is a real shame, because actually play helps the neurons in our brains make communication better between the left analytical side and the right creative side. So you know, play is a really nice way of opening up those connections. So go play.

    Caleb's Advice

My advice for anybody out there is technology is a tool to solve problems. So, if you look at companies like Airbnb, they're the biggest hotel company with no hotels. Uber, the biggest taxi service, but no taxi drivers. So, if you can solve some global problem, then you probably have a good idea and I would say pursue that and not let anything stop you.
