It's All Saints Eve and we have a special treat for the listeners!

The Philippines is a deeply Christian country but at the same time we are deeply superstitious with our fondness of horoscopes, Feng Shui, anting-anting and all sorts of “pamahiin”.

Fr. Jose Francisco Syquia or, Fr. Jocis for short, is the chief exorcist of the Archdiocese of Manila.

In this episode, Fr. Jocis talked about how he became an exorcist, what are the signs a real demonic possession is happening, what activities could create an opening for us to be vulnerable to diabolical attacks, the different activities of the devil in our lives (obsession, oppression, infestation, possession), what we can do to fight back, and why no exorcist ever lost a battle with the evil one (SPOILER ALERT: because the power of God is more powerful than theirs).

I thank the Lord for protecting our technology during this interview. Some weird stuff happened in our audio prior to the recording. Either the occasional lag is due to the internet connection or the attack of the adversary, I’ll leave it up to you to decide.

A few weeks ago, Superman and Robin came out gay, and Nightwing is a socialist.

Thinking Critical is a Youtube channel that talks about comic books, he does reviews and commentaries on the industry and sometimes, pop culture. We talked to Wes, the creator of the Youtube channel.
