I think you'll agree with me that we know more about how the body works than ever before in the history of mankind, and yet we're getting more and more obese. We're wired. We're tired. We're taking caffeine to get up, and we're taking alcohol to wind down.  We have a very sick nation, and to talk about that today is Dr. Richard Drucker. He's the author of Carbon Cure.

I am 62 years old. I can't even believe that, because when I think about myself, I think about myself in my 20s. There are a lot of people my age who are winding down, and then there are other people who are winding up for their next great adventure. That describes my next guest: DeeAnne Meece. One of the highlights of my news career is that I freed an innocent man from prison 20-plus years ago, and so I've always had a soft spot in my heart for people who are in prison. A lot of the time, the story goes that a prison becomes a place where you learn your craft better and become a better criminal going out. That is, unless you meet somebody like my next guest. Dallas is a very fickle place when it comes to restaurants. We all know famous restaurants that opened, and you couldn't get in for a year. Then, the very next year, they were closed. I'm a big fan of the book When God Winks. It was written some 30 years ago. Essentially, the book says God's not parting the Red Sea anymore to prove that he or she exists, but all these little doors that open or don't open, that's God winking at us, saying, "I got you."
