If you watch the show for any length of time, you know that I love to interview entrepreneurs. Too often, these entrepreneurs are good at making widgets, but they're not good at people. And isn't that what it's all about? Adam Buttorff is a certified human behaviorist and entrepreneur, and we will hear his story today.

I grew up in Detroit, and I learned to hustle. I was at 7 Mile and Livernois, and you had to hustle as a kid in Detroit. As a result, I relate to anybody who grew up in a tough section of town. My next guest knows all about that; Xavier Miller is the host of the Millionaire Mindsets Podcast.

I am so proud to introduce my next guest because he is a friend and a mentor. He has been with me since the very beginning when I wrote my book, Free Publicity, in 2002. He was one of the first people who took me under his wing and said, "I've got some people that you need to meet." And what a journey it has been! When I started my PR firm in my home 15 years ago, I was trying to be so much for so many people. Then, I decided I was going to specialize in something, so we specialized in experts. About a year ago my daughter and son-in-law announced that they were moving from Plano to Keller. I've been to Keller as a television reporter many years ago, and I have fallen in love with this beautiful town. Today I invited Mayor Armin Mizani of Keller, Texas on the show so he can talk about why this is such a special place to live.

My wife and I are proud residents of the great city of Plano, Texas, and one of the reasons Plano is such a great place to live is because it's so philanthropic. As the head of a podcast network and successful PR firm, we've had to make a lot of hires over the years. There is a science to hiring the right person. We've got the right team now, but there were several years during the 15 years of operation where I didn't want to come to work. It was so sick and dysfunctional because we had the wrong people. Somebody who knows all about that is Joe Frodsham, President of CMP.

In my news career, I worked for some very large corporations, and when they were going to fire somebody, they had to do it by the book. It was a litigious society and people could get sued for anything, so they always did it by the book. To talk about that today is Shelley Majors, an HR strategy consultant and MBA.
