  • 90. Leading Through Tough Times
Happy Monday, Tribe! I’m not gonna lie to you. I’ve recorded and deleted this episode a few times now. I usually don’t have any sort of script and just start talking, but today’s topic required some processing and thinking on my part. I just wanted to speak from my heart on what’s happening in the world right now — I’m talking about George Floyd’s murder, along with the several other cases of black and brown oppression. Now, I know that a lot of people are having a difficult time comprehending and understanding what their role is. As entrepreneurs, I believe that we are also leaders, and as leaders, we have a responsibility to speak up and amplify the voices that need to be heard. I hope you will join me in listening, learning, and acting to make positive change happen in this world.
    ________________________________________________________________________
    What You Will Learn…
    - Why all entrepreneurs have a leadership responsibility in times of crisis and hate
    - What it means to use your voice for good
    - Why it's essential that you educate yourself and process before speaking up
    - My experience witnessing racial injustice in the school system
    - The importance of listening to, learning from, and amplifying the voices that need to be heard
    - Why you should also be having conversations with your family, loved ones, and friends about racism
    - Different ways that we can contribute and actively combat anti-racism

After 11 years, he was not fulfilled so he made a change and sold out, not knowing where his next paycheck would come from.
Michael realized that his true fulfillment came from helping others in relatable situations change their lives. This led him to write his bestselling book "Chasing the High", and building F.A.T.E, a program designed for entrepreneurs and business leaders to take back control of their compulsive and addictive behaviors and step back into the leaders they were born to be.
