Bad Jerry Springer Dad Jokes Are Back In Full Form!

Jerry shows up to a party too early, and tries to get soon to be expected parents to name their children Jerry Springer. Bad dad jokes are back in full form!

Jerry's commentary: This is 2022. Have we learned nothing? Are we to leave our children and grandchildren a legacy of, “What were we thinking?” “How backwards were we?” ‘How could we tolerate such ignorance and bigotry? So as to defile, America at its best is supposed to stand for?”  “Come on, Christian nationalism?” It is an insult to Christianity. It’s a defamation to America.

A Faustian bargain never ends well. Selling one’s soul for an earthly prize. So it won’t end well for Republicans who have sold their soul. That is any sense of honesty, morality, the Big Lie, to the extreme right wing empowered by Trump for a momentary victory in the primaries. A younger generation, indeed a multicultural one at that, is not likely to sign on what used to be a respected political party and is now a personality worshipping loyalty demanding cult. The G.O.P. 1854-2022 Rest In Peace.

Jerry's Baaaaack! 

Jerry talks about the passing of the queen and gets emotional talking about his extended family being exterminated by Nazis and his parents getting visas at the last second to escape into England. Which is where Jerry was born in a subway (or tube) that was being used as a bomb shelter.

The duality of the Monarchy as a symbol of racism and how it also during WWII brought England together when there was no hope for the country. 

How are Kim Kardashian and the queen similar? Royalty are a bunch of rich snobs, but they do have good causes. Some royals see it as a prison. Let's discuss...

We’re getting complaints from corporate, about Jerry’s telling of the same joke again and again and again. He must stop, now under direction from corporate. (Then Jene asks Jerry who that older guy he was talking to out front.)

Jene tells shockingly how his uncle Antonio just died and how on his deathbed last week he announced he was changing his lifelong Democratic affiliation to Republican. He told Jene why.

The group discusses getting Tales, Tunes, and Tomfoolery tattoos. How some of the worst tattoos are of Jerry on peoples’ bodies. Jene talks about a guitar he gave Jerry for his birthday. Bob Dylan just got the Nobel Prize, and when Jerry was mayor of Cincinnati, Dylan received the key to the city from Jerry. The conclusion of a three part special edition of the Jerry Springer Podcast.

Jene interviews two former Kentucky inmates he met while volunteer teaching at a Kentucky correctional facility.  Tom Payne is a 7"2 former NBA basketball player with the Atlanta Hawks. He was the first African-American recruited by the University of Kentucky and hall of fame coach Adolph Rupp. Incarcerated for 33 years he talks about trying to help others avoid the pitfalls and violence he committed against others. Darryll Davis is a former drug dealer who committed murder after a drug deal gone wrong. He spent 22 years in prison and has a similar mission of preventing at-risk youth becoming violent offenders and helping inmates better themselves, feeling redemption, and coming to terms with the effects of their actions. The two talk about their time in prison, their backstories and the work they are doing now.
