  • Online Business Problems: Why Learning Isn't Increasing Your
Who knows how many books and courses are out there – all designed to help you on the road to business success. There is more available “business knowledge” today than at any other point in history. Yet, the failure rate is as high as ever. Why?
In today’s podcast I’m going to share my thoughts on breaking this frustration-cycle in your business where you continuously struggle to grow and make true, measurable progress.

  • Your New and Improved Business and Marketing Plan
Many online businesses today are comprised of only one or two people. Maybe it’s a husband and wife team? Perhaps it’s two friends… or a single person who does everything themselves.
    You get the picture.
Out of necessity, you have a simple business and marketing plan. When you hit a bump in the road, you look for help. The problem is… you’ll be hard-pressed to find simple business or marketing plans anywhere online. Most will stretch your time, money and personal energy to the point where it will be unsustainable. Burnout is quickly become the rule – not the exception
It's difficult (to say the least) for an individual to successfully execute a plan that’s designed for a team. In today’s podcast, we’ll take a fresh look at this situation and put it in a perspective to help you make some changes.

  • Coming back from a defeat or loss in business
From trying to do too many things at once to doing the old things (that aren’t producing results) over and over, it’s easy to settle into a pattern of defeat. Yet, instinctively, you recognize there’s a better place or result. After being in business and studying business my entire adult life, I’ve come to the conclusion that the greatest results are usually achieved after making inward adjustments as opposed to outward ones. In today’s podcast, I’ll be talking about how these changes can help bounce back after suffering a “defeat” or loss in your business.

  • Learning to Use Systems, The Media, and more
The business world works a lot like the game Monopoly. You start out at the beginning and invest some of your money. With each trip around the board, more of the players possess less of the money until eventually, everyone except the last two players remain.
Likewise, I’ve seen online platforms mature over the years, pushing smaller competitors out of the game. This is why it’s so important to recognize who your true competition really is. It’s much easier getting the attention of successful people in your own back yard than it is doing the same in someone else’s.
First, however, you need to have the right systems you need to place to handle the work (and everything else) as efficiently as possible. I’m talking about the systems that allow you to grow and prosper without putting out incredible amounts of energy from week to week, month to month and year to year.
The best systems I use in my own business I learned from others. That’s includes expanding my reach through the media and getting free publicity. Would you like to learn more? Then go ahead and listen to today’s podcast.

  • Master Planning Your Online Business
I’m naturally a creative type of personality. In other words, I’m at my happiest when I’m making something. Let me add to that – I’m at my happiest when I’m making something someone else wants and is anxious to pay me for.
Being creative isn’t easy and if you’re going to build a business around your creative energies, you may want to consider some of the downsides.
My first online creation was a hit. My second wasn’t.
Think about the movies that are supposed to be big hits but turn into box office bombs. Or the bands or musicians that release albums or singles that flop.
    It happens.
I’ve also invested time to pursuing the pragmatic, “boring approach” – selling what people need (webhosting, email services, etc.). At the very least, people will pay to keep the lights on. I put webhosting in that category.
So while you’re in the midst of making your plans, consider several different scenarios. None of us knows exactly what tomorrow will bring.

  • Pen Names, Anonymity & Becoming Too Familiar
It would be great if business success was simply a matter of focusing upon well-mapped, paint by numbers process. It isn’t. Paint by numbers gives you an overview of where the different pieces may eventually fit. The key words here are “may” and “eventually.”
Books, courses and other forms of academia are great when you’re just getting started. Even afterwards, the information you acquire may help you recognize certain patterns or sign posts along the way. But that’s mainly where book knowledge ends and personal experience takes over.
Experience causes you to internalize information in such a way that it gives personal insights into specific situations. Or more importantly, your current situation.
Experience – it’s often sloppy, disjointed and leaves you questioning your future at times.
    I approach it from a faith-based foundation.
I can only do what I can see myself doing… and sometimes it took a while before the things I wanted to come into focus – finally did.

  • From Chaos to Order - My Online Journey
Some people say I suffer from A.D.D. (Attention Deficit Disorder). I say, forget the labels. If you're a multi-project person, come to grips with your weaker areas and learn to compensate. My personal style opened the doors for some interesting experiences during the early stages of my entrepreneurial journey (during the 1990s). With each passing year, it became increasing clear what needed to be done to tie the loose ends together. As this happened, I create a business model that was uniquely "me" and increasingly profitable. I hope the sharing of my experiences will help you do the same.

  • Local Business Building "Secrets"
Building a business with less overhead and less moving parts doesn’t happen by accident. Actually, building any kind of business doesn’t happen by accident. All the happens by accident are accidents. In other words, not on purpose. Today I want to share you with my “local business model mentality.” It’s much easier to conquer the “world” when you’ve conquered your town and city first.
