I'm going to start doing more solo shows and trying to have guests on more as well. Today, I touch on the news that official weigh-ins will be moved back to 4pm. Spoiler alert: I think this is bull.  With the sad news of Anthony Bourdain's death hitting us this morning, I also tell my story about 'meeting' him and how we became pen pals. He will be missed.

On this episode, we hit the results of UFC 221 and our predictions for the Fight Night in Austin, TX. We then get into some of the Winter Olympics results and controversy surrounding some athletes. After all the talk about sports and athletes is done, we begin to discuss the tragedy in Florida. As a teacher himself, Mike weighs in on some of the problems he sees that schools face when trying to prevent this things from happening.

On tonights episode, we recap the fights from UFC Fight Night in Belem and go over the upcoming fights at UFC 221. Aside from that, we go off on a few rants about PED's, match making, and a fighter's legacy after a test failure. Oh, and a certain kind of bread. Don't google it. Unless you're into that kind of thing. Ladies in the seventeenth century were wild.

This week, we review UFC Fight Night Charlotte and briefly run down a couple fights on UFC Fight Night Belem. I give some insight on when I will be returning to the cage, as well. My dad, stands firm in his uneducated opinion on coyote behavior, we talk about my obsession with fishing rods, and I tell the story about the time is stepped on the largest water moccasin ever.

On this episode, we have special guest, John Dudley of Nock On TV, join us via Skype. John is a former member of the US Archery Team, a 3D archery Rookie of the Year, multiple time 3D National Champion, and has worked with many foreign national archery teams and individual archers in a coaching role. A brief run-down of UFC 220 and Bellator 192 opens up a few different conversations about high level athletics. Besides understanding how to deal with the pressure of individual athletic, training practices, and how to handle the mental ups and downs of a professional athlete, John also knows how to make a mean cocktail. He promised that next time, he'll share his wolf attack story too.
