With some good reffing and bad reffing last weekend, we discuss the results from UFC OKC and Bellator NYC. We also discuss some shooting that Pat and I did, our night at a drag strip, and how brewing beer is easier by myself because I don't need to worry about anyone else screwing up. Pat tries, unsuccessfully, to get the old man's potato salad recipe too. It's really good, and he needs to share the damn recipe already.

UFC OKC and Bellator's first pay-per-view are discussed. Plus we get into some serious reffing mistakes that should have been avoided, why throwing a kick in a boxing match is BS, and how to avoid a negligant discharge while drawing from concealed appendix carry.

We set up our first legitimate Skype call and have none other that Joe Lauzon join us. Joe gives us his take on the fights at UFC Singapore and the McGregor vs Mayweather boxing match coming up in August. We also share some stories about training with a brother and fighting on the same UFC card with our brothers. A few parenting stories get mixed in there as well, as Joe and his wife, Katie, are expecting their second child in December.

We head back to the gym to record an episode for the first time in a little while, and it feels nice. We get in depth in our break down of the Max Holloway vs Jose Aldo fight from UFC 212. We also get into the results of the Fight Night from Auchland, New Zealand. Some parenting stories and the moment that caught my attention the most at the UFC Fighter Retreat also get shared.

Pat and I hang out on my patio and discuss a busy month of traveling. We discuss some of the drama from the 2017 UFC Fighter Retreat and give a recap my trip to British Columbia with John Dudley of Nock On TV. We also discuss the rebanding of the podcast from Hands On to The Jim Miller Podcast.

Back after a two week strike, we pick things up where we left off. We talk about UFC Fight Nights in Kansas City and Nashville. We also discuss a recent turkey hunt and turkey hunting strategies.
