Zoe Fanning is a recent Boston college graduate with a degree in International Studies concentrating in Ethics, Social Justice, and Global Health. Like many others, she was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and wanted to find a way to make a positive impact on battling the crisis. On May 14th, Zoe set out to run as many miles as she could within the day and set up a fundraiser with Partners in Health to allow people to either pledge a one-time donation or per-mile donation. Very impressively, Zoe was able to run a total of 62.52 miles and also smash her fundraiser goal out of the park.
In this episode, that was recorded on May 18th, Jacob dives into Zoe's experience with the ambitious goal she set, how she got into the sport of running, why she chose Partners in Health, and many other exciting topics!
