Chapter 1:
Heat! That's all that has been on anyones mind living in the lower mainland this past week, and it's going to continue for just a couple more days, we hope. Also an update on the fire situation that has sparked all over B.C.
Chapter 2:
As of yesterday, there were seven wildfires of note (visible, or pose a threat to public safety) burning in BC, including the blaze at Mount Eneas, four kms south of Peachland, where over 1700 of land has been scorched. The fire is now under control.
Chapter 3: Niki Brings The News
Well is it? Heat warnings continue, and there seems to be no end in sight! Well actually there seems to be a clear end in sight but it's still a few days away!
Chapter 4: View From Victoria
Construction is moving forward but there's still no buyer, and protests were not quite as heavy as expected. Global News Online Journalist Richard Zussman is here with his take on the day's headlines.

Judy Darcy, who is the Minister of Mental Health and Addictions in B.C., recently put out a plan she hopes will curb the opioid crisis. Dana Larsen, a Marijuana Activist, doesn't really fully agree with her plan, and responded with a plan of his own.
Chapter 6:
A man covered in blood stabbed a dog in the community of Kits. 10 year old Golden Retriever Copper is on the mend though.
Chapter 7: Squire On Sports
Looks like the widely touted draft pick Quinn Hughes will spend another year in school before he makes his NHL debut.
Chapter 8:
It’s emerged 2 Calgary malls owned by property giant Cadillac-Fairview have been testing a new system which uses facial recognition to capture a shoppers’ gender and age without them knowing, while they’re using the mall’s touch-screen directory.
Chapter 9:
The publisher of the New York Times and Donald Trump are engaged in a public battle after the president accused the paper (and other publications) of putting lives at risk through ‘irresponsible reporting’.
