The City of Port Coquitlam is reminding the public that smoking and open-air burning are banned from all City of Port Coquitlam parks, trails and natural areas due to the high fire danger rating for the region.  This notice has been issued by the City of Port Coquitlam in conjunction with the Port Coquitlam Fire Department.

Police were out in force to monitor hundreds of Hells Angels bikers and their associates from across Canada who descended on Nanaimo on Saturday night to celebrate their 35th anniversary in BC. There’s concerns women and children won’t have access to safe and affordable modes of transport within the province, once the service is axerd November one.
