Chapter 1:
-Renata Ford, the wife of late Toronto mayor Rob Ford, has filed a lawsuit seeking more than $16 million against Rob’s brothers, Doug Ford and Randy Ford, and their associated businesses days before the Ontario election.
Chapter 2:
-Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will fly into Vancouver for a whirlwind stop - where he’ll address the Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committee in Chilliwack to discuss Canada’s new pipeline.

-Transit fares are going up! As of Canada Day, concession fares for all three zones will increase 5-10 cents.

Chapter 5:
-A new survey tells us something we already knew about how Canadians view U-S President Donald Trump. The survey by Angus Reid shows 74% of Canadians think Trump is arrogant, 62% this he is a liar.
Chapter 6:
-Last week, Donald Trump fired the first shot in the trade war between the US and Canada, imposing tariffs on aluminum and steel. Ottawa retaliated, slapping tariffs on a wide range of goods imported from the US, including maple syrup and toilet paper! But how will the tariffs impact businesses operating in BC? Will the costs of importing goods be passed on to the consumer?
Chapter 7:
-Last night, dozens of people grilled Member for Point Grey & Attorney General David Eby at the Hellenic Community Hall about the controversial school tax on homes worth over $3 million. The 0.2% tax would apply only to homes worth over that amount. Protesters hit Eby with questions and concerns, with many complaining they were in retirement and wouldn’t be able to afford to pay the tax.
Chapter 8:
-The Golden Knights are feeling the pain felt by the Kings, the Sharks and the Jets. Last night nothing seemed to go right for the Knights as bouncing pucks were not bouncing in their favour.
Chapter 9:
-Two Vancouver councillors want the B.C. government to provide financial support and advice to local governments who want to paint rainbow crosswalks. Vision Vancouver Coun. Tim Stevenson and Non-Partisan Association Coun. George Affleck tabled the motion. This comes after the city’s LGBTQ2S+ advisory committee made recommendations to increase visual representation.

-On today's Reality Check chat, Bruce talks about the dwindling newspaper business and what needs to happen in order to save the columnists from disappearing.
Chapter 11:
-A new report by the Heart & Stroke Foundation has found women have worse outcomes after having a stroke. Women are one third more likely to die from a stroke than men, but many are unaware of the symptoms.
Chapter 12:
-Gordon Casey spent $50,000 on a start-up, aimed at curbing the opioid overdose crisis. Users wear a device around their arm or wrist - which collects physiological data if they overdose - and sends it to the app, called Be Safe. The app also connects users with loved ones who can monitor them while they use.
