-The City of Vancouver approved rezoning a building development project last year under the condition that new high-rise would include “affordable rental units.” We’re now learning those “affordable” units could rent as high as $54-hundred dollars a month.

Liberal candidate Gordie Hogg will replace Dianne Watts, who stepped down to run for the leadership of the BC Liberal Party. Hogg captured 47.5 per cent of the vote, defeating Conservative Kerry-Lynne Findlay by 1,617 votes.
