I feel like I say this every week but I really do mean it — I’m so excited for this week’s episode! My friend, Nico Aranda, is a 26 year-old son of 2 immigrant Argentinian parents. He’s traveled with different musical artists internationally and is local in LA working on music things!

By being a musician myself, I think it’s safe to say that it’s definitely not easy being a musician, or a creative for that matter. It’s rewarding, sure, but sometimes it can seem like a never ending job. Since you don’t necessarily have a clear to-do list or path to get “there”, you really have to get clear on what you want and what it it’ll take. Are you willing to go the distance? (name that Disney movie haha). Do you really LOVE your craft?

Bottom line: if you love what you do, everyday, you are lucky.

Through reading “The Artist Way” by Julia Cameron, I’ve learned that it’s very important to nurture your artist. She does such an amazing job at directly talking to us creatives, our minds and our hearts. In this episode I share the 6 ways you too can nurture your artist and make the space within yourself that is needed for ultimate creativity and inner balance.

Truth is, if we don’t take the time to quiet down our minds, and take care of ourselves, and our inner talent, we can miss out on our true creative potential.

AHH! Second episode is here! I can’t believe this. Inside this episode you’ll find some disclaimers of what to expect on the The Journey of Pursuit Podcast, how it’s not meant to be perfect, and how it came to be! Since I already consider you all my peers, I decided to also share with you the voice note I sent my friends back in May when I had the idea for this new venture. I just pressed record on my voice notes app and sent it to them! I figured it would be a good way to let you guys see how the process has developed.
