My guest today is @tanialuisalester, a Medical Intuitive trained in Theta Healing.  While Tania began her career in traditional medicine, she shifted to this powerful form of alternative medicine after experiencing a health crisis.  Theta Healing has healed people suffering from Multiple Sclerosis, Lupus and even Cancer; it also addresses psychological disorders such as anorexia.  Tania’s experiences highlight the importance of our thoughts as well as the people and energy we surround ourselves with.

I was shocked to learn that the fashion industry is one of the most polluting industries in the world, second only to oil. It takes more than 5,000 gallons of water to make a t-shirt and a pair of jeans!! The U.S. generates 25 BILLION LBS of textile waste each year, recycling very little of it. This waste can take up to 200 years to biodegrade in a landfill.  Today @GabriellaSmith, Founder of @TheUpCycleProject shares her journey with sustainable fashion. 

In today’s episode, author @alan_philips and and I continue our conversation about his new book @ageofideas.  We talk about failure, confidence, the power of the mind and embracing uncertainty.   What does it look like to embrace the dichotomy of knowing you are being called to do something — like writing a book, starting a clothing line, opening your own restaurant, and yet, simultaneously having no idea how it will turn out!   When we embrace uncertainty we give our inner creative potential an outlet to express itself, and to grow.
