The Justin Timberthon

Mr Beast a silly man who does even sillier videos! I legit used to watch him when he had like 80k subs, he used to do videos about blowing stuff up and counting to massive numbers it was pretty fun ngl. Now he just does videos where he does house tours with his boys and sometimes Miranda Cosgrove and sometimes Justin Timberlake.

May Thompson and Harri Dobbs legit think this is best episode yet thats no joke.

The Ice Bucket challenge is a thing that we all did and then all forgot about. Justin Timberlake also did it (he's only human).

Harri Dobbs and May Thompson talk about this for about 5 minutes of this 45 minute episode. Jesus Christ this one is a lot. I'm genuinely sorry.

In 2001, NSYNC went on The Simpsons. This much we know. In 2006, some person uploaded footage of them on The Simpsons just mucking around and having a good time. I reckon this footage was originally on a DVD of some kind or maybe just on TV, I've got no idea where this is from honestly. Justin Timberlake plays himself, playing himself.

Harri Dobbs and May Thompson talk about this, but not really to be honest they haven't recorded in a while and they're a bit rusty.

This week, in a twist, May Thompson, Harri Dobbs and special guest Ben Treloar talk about a podcast, on a podcast.

Specifically they talk about "Armchair Expert" hosted by Dax Shepard and somebody else but honestly she doesn't get many words in. Justin Timberlake plays himself, talking about his movie "Palmer", which I'm sure will be a better thing to talk about on something like this.

Jerry is a short film from 2009 and it barely exists on the internet. For a little bit, Harri Dobbs and May Thompson thought it might be lost media. It isn't luckily, which means they can talk about it with special guest Austin Hampshire.

Justin Timberlake plays the titular Jerry, a man who loves nothing more than getting laid and getting paid. It's a bit of a weird one.

The Simpsons is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series is a satirical depiction of American life, epitomized by the Simpson family, which consists of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. Set in the fictional town of Springfield, it caricatures society, Western culture, television, and the human condition.

Justin Timberlake plays himself circa 2001, peak *NSYNC years! Harri Dobbs and May Thompson discuss this to quite an extent. Happy New Year!!! (we recorded this before we knew this would come out on new years eve in mid november)

Trolls Holiday is the first of (at time of writing) two Trolls Christmas specials. Based on this one, this is gonna be a very rough Justin Timber-chapter.

Justin Timberlake plays Branch, a grumpy troll who I'm pretty sure is love-bombing the Anna Kendrick troll. I'll be honest, neither May Thompson or Harri Dobbs or special guest Henry King O'Reilly really know what was going on and I'm not sure that's their fault. Merry Justin Timbermas!!!

WARNING: This episode gets a little depressing. It's not really triggering I think it can just be a bit downbeat. Still a banger though.

The Open Road is a road trip movie starring Jeff Bridges, Kate Mara and guess who.

Justin Timberlake plays some dude who's name I've already forgotten. May Thompson and Harri Dobbs can't really remember them either.

The Cleveland Show is an American animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane, Richard Appel, and Mike Henry for the Fox Broadcasting Company. A spin-off of Family Guy, and the second television series in the franchise, the series centres on Cleveland Brown, the most obvious choice for a protagonist by far.

Justin Timberlake plays 2 characters in this episode but Harri Dobbs and May Thompson didn't realise that until about 3 days after recording so only talk about the worst character he plays.

Hot Ones is an American YouTube talk show, created by Christopher Schonberger and Sean Evans and produced by First We Feast and Complex Media. Its basic premise involves celebrities being interviewed by Evans over a platter of increasingly spicy chicken wings. Personally, I'd love to see a video series about the guy who makes all these wings. Maybe they can go to the farm where the chickens were bred, do a bit of an investigative piece into battery farming. That sort of thing. Or even just a cooking show where they talk about who they're making the wings for. Are they excited that the wings they prepared are gonna be eaten by Michael Cera? Probably not, but I would still love to see their process. How many episodes do they do in one day? Do they have to make a load of wings for a day of 5 different shoots? Making sure that they don't accidentally make too many of one level of spiciness. Are the wings hot when they're being eaten? I mean obviously they're spicy but are they warm? Do they have to make them right before the shoot so that they're warm for Asa Butterfield to eat them. Does the host eat chicken wings outside of the show? Do they know the chef? It's a lot to think about.

In 2020 Justin Timberlake went on the show to promote Trolls World Tour, a film with zero audience overlap with Hot Ones. Harri Dobbs and May Thompson talk about this for longer than they expected to but still not that long.
