Black Women have historically dealt with inequality in the work place. With intersecting oppressed identities, navigating the professional world is a little different for us. Listen as Ayonna Chambers, Shredell Baker, and Allyn Daniels discuss our experiences as upcoming media professionals and, more importantly, as black women!

The separation of church and state is a principle on which our country was founded. However, the same politicians that claim sticking to tradition is a necessity fail to fully grasp the concept. Many politicians impose their religion on others, which isn’t fair. How is this affecting our democracy. Melanie Kee and Courtney McClain discuss.

I have been very vocal about my desire for a rebirth of The Black Panther Party. I believe that this type of social unrest and mistreatment of the black community is the perfect birthing ground for a new generation to make real change. Little did I know, people in Michigan, Colorado, and other areas of the country were already on the ball.

I’m sure we’ve all noticed how our society has almost gone backwards in a sense when it comes to black representation in Hollywood. The only successful black people we see on TV pass the paper bag test, and Hollywood recycles the same 5 lightskin actresses in almost every project.

Children are always a sticky topic of discussion. Nobody wants to feel like the way they’ve parented is wrong, but sometimes it is.

Every child is different, but there are still some do‘s and don’t’s of parenting. Don’t miss two non-parents discuss parenting!!

Over the past year, what’s taught in schools has been up for heavy debate, with a general need for public schools to teach more accurate historical information. Is it ok for parents to object to things their children learn? Is it ok for parents to interfere in lesson plans they don’t agree with?

Judas and The Black Messiah was an amazing piece of work that went in-depth in educating us about the true aim of the Chicago Black Panther Party and Fred Hampton. Nick Wallace & I discussed how this movie affected our outlook on history and our opinions on today’s social justice movements!
