Five Kent teams made it into the last 64 of the FA Vase last weekend - and we hear from the winners of an all-SCEFL tie. Erith & Belvedere didn't have it all their own way as they lost their captain to a broken ankle early on, and joint-boss Billy Hamlin reflects on that blow and hails his keeper for his performance after his side made it through on spot-kicks at Bearsted. Bears boss Kev Stevens was gutted to go out of the competition and discusses that exit, the injury problems that have hurt their season so far and his hope to get more people through the gates. Chatham Town earned a point against league leaders Dover Athletic and their boss Kevin Hake reflects on that game, the strength of the Isthmian League Premier Division and the progress his club are making on and off the pitch. The FA Cup is over for us for another year, but after an exciting week of league action, we've got four interviews in another packed podcast! It was the big derby game on Tuesday night and Dover emerged victorious at Folkestone - Whites boss Jake Leberl tells us all about that victory, has some harsh words for his side and admits they may be overachieving as they sit top of the table. Invicta manager Andy Drury was downcast after the loss and hit out at the decision to send off striker Dan Smith as his side suffered home defeat. In the SCEFL, Stansfeld are going great guns and their manager Bill Shinners discusses their upturn in form, settling in to a new home and his love for the club he played for and now manages. Maidstone were unable to repeat last year's FA Cup heroics as they bowed out at Solihull but skipper Sam Corne stayed upbeat despite the loss and is hoping to move up the National League South. Another bumper podcast after another excellent week in the FA Cup where no fewer than ten of our sides made it through to the Third Qualifying Round. Top billing goes to Herne Bay, who beat Hendon 3-0 to set up a tie with Maidstone - Bay boss Steve Lovell discusses all things FA Cup, his side's lack of league action so far this season and working closely with his son Mark. Ashford United also made it through and Danny Kedwell reflects on his start to life at Homelands, the squad he's built and the potential of the club.
