Nick DiSalvo is the guitarist and front man for the American band Elder. He joined us via Skype for a chat (trust us, the sound quality is fine).

We spoke about Elder's new album, goths hanging out at HP Lovecraft's grave, happy sounding doom, trips to Germany, the Doom Charts, playing 3 short songs in a 30 minute set, expensive Australian alcohol, cheap German alcohol, Australia junior, summer Santa and German holiday traditions.

The song featured at the end of this episode is the title track from Elder's newest record, 'Lore'. It's a journey.

AWARD: First proper international Skype episode.
