In this episode, the first of our ongoing Courage Series, we get real as we discuss how much courage can be found while going through grief.
Courage is not just for taking chances to achieve “great” things; it is also for getting through some of life’s harder realities and finding the strength from within to allow ourselves to be human. Thank you kindly for joining me on this one. It gets truly personal and I hope it helps.
With love, Amy
This week’s episode is all about getting unstuck using what I call Process Infinity. It is a realistic, real life guide to moving forward out of the eddies and holes that we get ourselves caught up in, with an approach that helps us realize we don’t find the sun…we become it.
*Speaking of real life, pardon the momentary siren in the background, toward the end of the episode; I live next to a firehouse and I figured I would just go with the flow, be real, and not edit it out. So, please, enjoy the authenticity, and, hopefully, all was okay!
Time for another midweek EnCouragement minisode, this one about the check engine lights in life and how to handle them without letting them get you down.
For more real life encouragement and courage talk, come head on over to AmyInfinity.com or find me on social media and I’ll see you there.
This week’s episode is not a substitute for seeking help if you are in darkness - please do so! There is no shame is asking for help, professionally and otherwise. I do hope that these gentle steps might also help you inch out of darkness as they have also helped me. Sending you my love through this podcast and beyond.
In this brief EnCouragement minisode, I reflect upon the impactful realization that there is a monumental difference between fitting in - and struggling to do so - and actual belonging. We all belong somewhere and are destined to find this mythical place, along with the people who feel like home. But in the fight to fit in, we block our opportunities to belong. The lesson? To be who we really are in order to find where we truly belong.
This week’s episode is a bit playful, reminding us, through a dog’s perspective, how we mean more to others than we often realize. We get so caught up in the day-to-day, especially when we are parents or caregivers of any sort, that we sometimes lose sight of what we really mean to those we care for. Please take this time to lovingly appreciate the gift that you are.
In this episode, I explore the reason I decided to take a break from an over two year stint of sobriety, touching on the beast/blessing of perfectionism and the importance of self-realization, personal choice, and forgiveness. Alcohol is an individual choice. Please make the best decision for you and for your health. *Please note, I mention the pandemic having started two years ago…then realized it has been three! I think you all know what I mean when I say it has been a blur.
Are you in the thick of it? Tired of hearing “be happy to attract happy,” when you feel far from where you want to be? Me frickin’ too! So, we’re breaking the law…of attraction, that is. This episode plows into reperceiving, believing, and choosing to step into the next, even while we’re still caught up in the rough. Because who says we can’t?
In this first of a number of shorter In-Couragement episodes, I dive into the sometimes elusive idea of home - the search, the feeling, the reality, and the realization of what home truly can become if we let it.
*Please note: I originally wrote the blog that this episode is based on a few years back, before I made my way back to Washington (hence the reference to being somewhere else).
In this episode, we discuss the challenge - and benefit - of seeing everything in life as happening for a reason. Is it easy? Not necessarily; but this shift in perception can have an amazing, life-altering consequence: empowerment.
