We have all heard it at least once in our lives…don’t take candy from strangers.  Adults have been saying this to children for years in the hopes to protect them from being kidnapped, and it is believed that this phrase originated from one of the most famous missing person cases in history that is also believed to be America’s first ransom kidnapping.
