In Luke 19, Jesus tells a parable to juxtapose himself with Gentile rulers of the day. They come with power to dominate, but Jesus enters Jerusalem in humility to die for the salvation of the world.
Jesus’ eternal kingdom isn’t based around a physical place or earthly power, but on the Spirit of God filling human hearts. This is the only way to navigate the now and not yet of our life on earth.
To live with power and peace, is to go low, to need Jesus.
